What size card did you run in these cams sir?
@@brandonyeager4217 I run 32gb on these. I believe they won’t accept anything bigger oddly enough.
@DirtRoadLife1 yes sir, you're right I seen that....I think some ive had in the past had too small of an SD card cause video would be like 3 segments long...never played like full 10 second vids
This deserves more likes/views
@@shanevice7767 thanks Shane! Appreciate the comment too. That helps lol maybe someday the algorithm will pick it up.
The dog is doing what he's been bred to do for centuries. My part Norwegian Elkhound mix was likewise barking when your dog was barking at the turkey. Maybe they are related.
@@joefish4466 that would be so cool! And yes he chased a deer once which I posted on here and you should have seen the ignorant comments. Like you said it’s literally what they were bred for for centuries.
Full watch ! 👍🏻
Great job on this build. You are going to be super happy that you did this. New subscriber here.
@@tractortalkwithgary1271 subbed back btw
Great idea and great build. Guys like you and me use what we have . I built a mount for my Kubota tractor that I use in my woods. I liked it so well after I discovered how super handy it is to have a saw with me on the tractor. I have 100 acres of very mature hardwood timber on my farm and get tops downed every year from wind damage. I find having the saw on the tractor is great. If what I am pulling is too much for the tractor, isn’t cut completely in two, or a limb gets hung up, I have the saw right there with me. I liked mine so well that I built another mount for my medium sized saw that I carry with me on one of my John Deere tractors that I use down in my woods.
@@tractortalkwithgary1271 really appreciate the feedback and sub, Gary! It sure is nice. I often found myself without my saw before this because you trip over it on the platform or you dump it out of the bucket. And yes us farmers gotta be resourceful especially in today’s economy. Can’t wait to check out some of your vids. After church .. lol Catch ya soon!
Nice review still man! As you stated some grainy photos..but dang sure can see what you're looking at! Not bad for the price...putting 6 to 8 up on public asap sir! Great review though!
@@brandonyeager4217 thanks for the comment Brandon! What state you hunt public in? NY and PA here
@DirtRoadLife1 Tennessee alabama and was illinois
@DirtRoadLife1 and what you recommend is the best cheap non cell camera to buy? Trying not to buy Amazon ones...and trying to stick with stealthcam
@@brandonyeager4217 I haven’t run any cel cams except the Tactacam Reveals so I couldn’t say for sure. Tactacam are on the higher end of price range but they work well.
@DirtRoadLife1 yes sir...I've got the good stealthcam cell cams..but which non cell cam do you honestly recommend? Non cell cam
Think you shaved some hair off that woodchuck! 🤣
Easy decision for me also. I’m thinking it was hit good enough by Landon for him to get it. Im guessing if he hadn’t been kicked up again, in a week you could have picked up his carcass out of the creek. Congrats Landon!👍🏻
Exactly my thoughts, Rod! I was extremely happy for him.
I made a set up for my hot water tank using a tube and shell exchanger to preheat water going in and also with a side arm on it to heat it while it’s not being used all made together with bypasses check valves and also a spot to fill my outdoor wood stovefrom inside the house. I’m not sure how to send photos on here, but if you’re interested in seeing it I don’t know if there’s a way to message me, but let me know.
@@adambater2767 definitely interested in the hot water heater setup. I also have my boiler set up to fill from inside house.

@@gsnicholas8522 no but he didn’t take mine for my miss at his place either lol though I guess mine was probably a graze not actually a miss

With this setup, once the winch hook goes under the pulley, does that mean in order to take off the plow you need to unbolt the pulley? I was hoping that I could not have the plow on all winter.

I just did a 100 mile test ride on Sunday, on my friends 2916. I grew up riding dirt bikes and have been riding for 52 years. For the last five years ive been doing some ADV riding on my V Strom 1000xt Adventure. However when the going gets rough, the V Strom becomes a 550 lb pig. Hopping on the DR, made me feel invincible. I started getting a little too reckless on some dirt roads, and had a little reality check. I quickly realized I'm 63, not 16. Luckily i didn't drop it.Atvthe end of the day, i absolutely loved it. Now i just need to give my friend a deposit .
@@elitetileandstone that’s awesome. They’re hard to beat for what they are and what you can get them for. Sure there’s things we’d all love to see improved on them but for a bike that’s been around for 30+ years they’re impressive and extremely versatile. Thanks for the comment! Ride safe and enjoy
Where you are riding look a lot like the Pennsylvania Wilds. I want to do the MABDR and PA BDRX, and this could be the perfect dinosaur, old and reliable.
@ we ride down that way often. I’m just over the border in NY state so the Tioga State Forest and Pine creek area is only 30 mins away. I’d love to do those routes this coming summer too and camp along the ways
@DirtRoadLife1 , me too. I was just out your way, in late October. I took my V Strom from the Philly burbs up along the Delaware to Hancock NY. I went north into the Catskills, before heading south to Rt 6. I traveled west through Pine Creek Gorge, out to Kinzua. Then I dropped back to the PA Wilds. I didn't actually do the BDR, as I was traveling alone and no one knew my location. You live in a beautiful areaand the DR is perfect for ripping around. Your bike looks super torquey with that 49 tooth sprocket. Your wheelies are pretty awesome! Safe travels and Happy Adventures! Rich

Do pex pipes handle the high temperature well?
Most pex will be rated tor 180. My plate exchanger sends out 170 degree water so that doesn’t leave much room for temp increases.

Great video. I'd like to know what jet is installed with factory exhaust. Seems to run strong.
@@randomthings4473 if I knew i would tell you!
There are so many pros about this bike, and the cons are minimal and fixable simply. I like the idea about this machine that you can change the platform at any time whether you want to use it as a commuter, trail bike, enduro, adventure, rtw, supermotard, scrambler, etc. It is a base for them all. Its the perfect economical dad bike because you can use it for pretty much everything instead of having multiple bikes and you don't have to spend a lot of time working on it and when you have time to actually take a ride you can just go!
@@TheMotorcycleMessenger you’re exactly right! Such a versatile yet simple and reliable platform.
I've been looking into filming my hunts, and not a lot of people show their setup, so thank you
Yeah I figured that would be helpful for some folks, so glad you found it useful! Thanks for the comment!
Good afternoon Chris. Looks like you are really enjoying yourself. Stay safe .
