It’s so refreshing to watch people just enjoy this album and not hang shit on it! Which I believe would have been Katy’s intention. Listen, laugh, love, enjoy! Not all music has to be deep (some of it is though)… music can serve many purposes. I love the transitions and this album has some instant hits and a few growers.

It feels like Katy Perry was trying to emulate Madonna’s 2005 “Confessions On A Dance Floor” era with the transitions and type of electronic music. That album revived Madonna’s career (for the second time in three decades), so maybe that was the goal here. 🤔

That's the most real reaction...honestly how do these say it's a bad song 5 seconds in the song....that's what bad hears do to a good artist...but this vid made me believe there are good listeners and I hope 143 gets justice

One of the best albums that came out this year! Ofc, lyrically, there were some stronger ones (e.g. Hit Me Hard and Soft), but 143 is fun, and I'm here for it! Also, great reaction!! <33

I hate how everyone thinks this album is a flop. Like gurl, almost every song is so damn good

In my opinion album is not upto the mark of her album like teenage dream and prism but it's not bad at all and I don't find it outdated even if it is outdated than 2010s music was better than 20s. People are so mad at katy and hv so much negatively for her. Definitely it's not easy for katy to bounce back again even if she release another Teenage Dream. Even It's weird that people appreciating her work is not getting views but critics are getting more viral than her own songs.

I’m glad someone else finds the extended Woman’s world version so good too. I prefer it more over the original just cause it eases into the song better. And, idk if it’s just me being delusional, but the instrumental sounds slightly better in that version than the original too

Thank you for the positive review. It doesn’t need to be always positive, but an HONEST review. In my review too, 143 is her sonically cohesive album. Finally she decided to have innovative exploration of pop genre. Something that she did on her old material. It is one of the best pop albums of 2024.
