Love it. Can someone explain the reason for using "mark seam"? I'm a beginner and didn't get what mark seam did that.
The ‘Mark Seam’ function is used to make the texturing process easier. In 3D modeling, seams are like the edges of a pattern in sewing. They define where the 2D image (texture) will be cut and unfolded (or ‘unwrapped’) onto the 3D model. By marking seams, we can control how the model unwraps, which can result in a better texture application. In this video, we didn’t specifically use UV unwrapping, but marking seams can still help make the texturing process easier. It’s a good practice to get into as you continue to learn and grow in your 3D modeling skills. Hope this helps, and happy modeling!

Unreal is too feature packed to leave it Unity is too bare bones for me I used Unity for 3 years before moving to unreal and never looking back
It’s great to hear that you’ve found a platform that suits your needs so well. Unreal Engine indeed offers a wealth of features and it’s understandable why you’d prefer it after using Unity.
