Very cool Carbon Team! Thanks for having our backs👍
If successful in reducing concussions for football, would this technology be applicable to motorcycle helmets? and, maybe motorcycle protective clothing?
Adding robotics to change out a platform might work well for large dental labs with the budget and space. The intent is to give smaller dental labs a way to automate with a “lights out” solution that they can implement on their existing equipment with just an increase in resin cost.
This is extremely wasteful. Why not build something that removes the plate and replaces it with another plate instead.
@@user-it7kg3pm4q Neat, so there isn't a need to do this weird stacking nonsense
Cool, now find a way to recycle all that resin
So wasteful
on the one hand, it looks convenient, but in practice there is more transfer of expensive resin and time for extra layers. There is NO sense in this construction
resin and machine time might not be that expensive compared to operator time. still there must be a better way of doing this. transferable bases or something. or some kind of clever tree supports
@@elongated_muskrat_is_my_name use magnetic tables, remove one, install the second and immediately print. 1 was cleaned and replaced again. And excess resins are consumed faster and less. The resin that was spent on extra supports would have been enough for 1 or 2 such parts.
I would think this is more for "lights out" printing. Yeah its wasteful from the resin point of view but maybe not from a down time point of view. CNC machining cannels talk about this, yeah its not very optimized but its reliable and im in the bed getting a good nights sleep while its running.
The stack is actually designed so that it drains resin overnight. There is a complex geometry that funnels the resin through the pillars and back into the cassette where it can be reused. Also, the whole stack adds a minimal amount of volume while keeping the parts meeting the strict specs.
I want this car with the Wakanda design!!!!! Great job everyone who made this project come to life.🎉🎊💯✊🏾
Seems like a huge waste of material
Vs operator cost? Probably still makes sense. Shame that it’s so wasteful
Genius
It’s amazing to see this level of attention given to every single patient!
Oh wow….Impressive :)
I have been using 3MF and seriously considering STEP format as from what I see and understand, rounded surfaces are cleaner when printed. Sadly I find less people are downloading my files when they are on that format compared to STL. I find different and sometimes conflicting informations about those file formats. Some stating malicious G code can be inserted in 3MF. So I’m really having a hard time finding the right information in clarifying it so explain the why of the benefits of 3MF and STEP aside from the file sizes and quality advantages. Is it true of those malicious codes can be inserted of is it a myth. I design 3D terrain for tabletop gaming, self taught, so I don’t have the benefit of proper education on the technical file format technical aspect.

Hello 👋🏽 Wiche EPU mimics memory foam EPU 46 or EPU 43
That was really misleading video. I was thinking that it's really small printer and then at the end guy shows up xD
LNAO me too!! 1:05
lol me too….I was thinking it was brilliant but probably stupidly expensive for a small desktop…….but I’m ok for whatever price tag they have for it being that size. Take my money lol
Is a very hard problem to solve. So much force and so little time to slow it down.
400dollars per month, what a joke
Tesla of 3d printers, impressed.
❤❤❤
I assumed this was a resin 3d printing material based on how it was printed, but now see it is commercial. I have no clue why this was reccommended to me
same lol
It would be dope if I could use it on my elegoo Saturn.
That sure didn't explain how 3d chain mail is made.
I’m curious will the “Tigeraire” helmet air condition system be implemented in these or at least be able for use in these
The football helmets I used was hard foam 20yrs old in the late 80’s, I got numerous concussions, Then I was recruited n got a Riddell bladder fitted helmet, This is though is fantastic great for the sport and technology
I think it's not a stake of
Maybe make your helmets lighter, so then the acceleration of the helmet won’t affect the performance of the player and the mass. That’s a good tip.
This is one of the functions of the lattice. It allows for lightweighting of the part, while still maintaining the structural integrity of the shape.
Yo
Sam Weinwright is a great leader and very visionary person, happy to work with him. And nice video
I've got both the Adidas 4DFWD Pulse 2 and the 4DFWD 2...both are amazing shoes. The sole on the 4DFWD 2 is entirely this lattice material and it's truly super comfy stuff. Of the 25 pairs of Adidas I own, the Ultraboost 22, Parley/Ultraboost 21's the Stella McCartney Solarglides, DNA 19.5 Boosts and the adidas x Marimekko Ultraboost are probably neck and neck or just slightly better in cushioning but NOT in shock absorption. The 4dFWD eats it right up. It'll let you stabilize at any pace, smooth your transitions and help protect you from shin splints and injuries. If you're buying them for lifestyle, okay, you got cool shoes, but to an athlete, these are the meta for road runners, recovery runs, training sessions, etc. I rock mine probably 3 out of the 5 runs I do weekly. There is no hype to be had. #TeamAdidas
Can this be machined or milled?
wich type please

will we be able to use this on other printers if we cant afford carbon printers?
I have use DLS printing of parts during development of my product. As a company we would like to roll this technology out to our manufacturng, which is not high volumes. However, as a UK OEM, we have to ensure ALL materials used within our products are RoHS3 compliant. Are DLS printed materials RoHS compliant? This has always been a challenge with SLS and SLA. We have to hold proove of compliance from material vendors.
Alien style shit
Hey I have stl files can they be converted into stp files
no
We don't have this printer where I work at, but we have an M3 printer from carbonandits amazing. The dental company I work at is the first to own one. Never seen this model of a printer before. But dear lord to I belive it will take up so much space where I'm at and take some time. It's a small company so obviously we don't have this beast.
1 hour 29 minutes for that???? What happened to the CLIP technology? So it's now a standard 3d resin printer like all the others? Lol
Can we 3d print human tissue?
Why - large models, different colours, different materials, complexity, moving parts, post processes, access, reuse of a part within a model, differing settings for different parts, increased protection action printing failures, printing on multiple machines, parts made to fit in final assembly, repair.

Eenie, MEANY, miny, MO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How many teeth have I lost because of YOU. How much SUFFERING did I endure because of YOU. I even remember your minion's name, Dr Dorothy Griggs, remember me, the little girl who somehow got that freezing crap down her throat????? How the FUCK does that happen? I REMEMBER it well so well, your FOUL act and total incompetance created yet another health condition which encircled my life several times finally culmulating in being so shot up with antibiotic after antibiotic that I have a two week period of my life with ZERO memory. I lost my job, I was a well respected natural health profession, I lost my home, I could no longer care for children, I lost EVERYTHING. I have lost everything so many times that I dont care about any THING AS IN INANIMATE OBJECT, yet I do CHERISH what is real and living. You RECCOMEND toothpastes filled with flouride aka rat posion which interfers with cogniyive function. You have also filled the teeth of the people with harmful heavy metals and I carry the evidence in my mouth. These metals draw wifi energy into the teeth. For healthy and very bright white clean teeth here are the ingredients for something GOOD for you ALL to START with. Natural make yourself toothpaste Diatomascious earth himalayan salt monkfruit sugar-it aids in tooth protection, is sweet, zero calories and is a protein coconut oil-forget the swishing of oil in the mouth it is too gag worthy, add it to your toothpaste water eseential oils for flavor-mint, cinnamon ect Sally forth donkeys.
Cool
The video basically just keeps repeating that "carbon dentistry" is amazing. It shows dripping tooth models and equipment.... but really doesn't give any real information about how methods and applications. All it tells me is that Carbon, Inc. thinks that their product is amazing.
