The Crochet Circle
Словения
Добавлен 11 янв 2020
Hi, my name is Alex and welcome to The Crochet Circle.
I am one of those crafty crochet loving people. The first time I picked up a crochet hook was when I was about 10 years old and in my 30 year career I did manage to learn few things.
And those things I would like to share with you.
So my channel will be about the process that I go trough when crafting something new, with tutorials and patterns.
Not every pattern that you find online is perfect but I will try to test as many as possible and perhaps do an adjustment so that the final product is just what you need.
So sit back, get the hook and yarn and enjoy the fun.

Do u have a pattern for all those flowers?
For now I have made vide tutorials for: Crochet GERBERAS flower: ruclips.net/video/pFbqpxhfx3k/видео.html (can also be a sunflower - depending of the colour of the yarn) Crochet ROSE flower: ruclips.net/video/mSZXpNUV25w/видео.html Crochet TULIP flower: ruclips.net/video/-afQ1Uu6Bh0/видео.html Crochet DAFFODIL flower: ruclips.net/video/Ql8SB16hlDg/видео.html but I will add at least two more flowers to my video tutorials for crochet flowers.
No se ve 😮😮 😮 😮 😮
I have made several of your angelfish and I love them. I'm currently working on making a mobile as a gift for a baby boy and wondered if you have a tutorial or any suggestions. I want to use small animals or aquarium things. I would sincerely appreciate any ideas you might have.
I have some amigurimu for the sea world: Crochet STARFISH: ruclips.net/video/NtMNuwMG8xg/видео.html Crochet JELLYFISH: ruclips.net/video/JiWYnlRmD8M/видео.html Crochet BABY WHALE: ruclips.net/video/e1VFc9mUApM/видео.html Hope it helps
Hi if using DK roughly how much yarn would you need? thanks
That is hard to say, but you can do a test run to see how much yarn you need for a row of, let's say, 20 single crochet stitches. In this crochet letter 'K,' there are 30 rows with about 16 single crochet stitches in each row (give or take one or two). That comes up to about 480 single crochet stitches. But to make it a nice round number, let's say 500. So if you multiply the amount of yarn you need for 20 single crochet stitches by 25, you can get an estimate of how much yarn you need. You can do that by measuring the length of yarn you need for those 20 sc stitches, because for the weight of the yarn, I think - well, at least my scale wouldn't show any changes. Hope this helps.
Could you do a tutorial for this? It’s very pretty 😊
@@crochetlearner1 I will do a tutorial for this. I hope it will be out in the begining of September.
That yarn 😍
Sooo genial.
Do I have to crochet together or can I use a needle to sew them ?
@@feliciatorres2606 You can definitely sew them together with a needle 😊
Just finished crocheting all the letters of the alphabet using your videos. Now I want to know if you will be crocheting the numbers 0-9?
😍😍😍
Thank you ☺️☺️☺️
You should tell people that the odd rows are just the single crochet and the even rows are the increase rows.
Thank you for pointing it out ☺️ I will add it to the secription.
Thank you so much... My letter C was a success b/c of you. Thank you so much for allowing us to follow you through these tutorials... It's so helpful 😊😊😊
So happy to hear that! Thank you.
Thank you sooooo much for teaching all of the letters!!! I am really learning a lot!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you! That is great to hear ☺️
Will you be showing how to crochet numbers after the letters?
I have a plan to do them. But I have also already been saying that to my self for over 2 years now. I hope to soon start with the numbers. I can confirm I already did some diagrams for the numbers so there was some progress made. I just need the time to do the rest and record everything. I hope to make them soon. I will let you know when the tutorials will be out.
How soon will you be doing the letter B?
You can find the tutorial for crochet letter B here ruclips.net/video/OOrzxSkHjbk/видео.html
I’m curious what kind of string you will use to attach the letters to each other
Hi! Will you share a tutorial for this pattern?
Hi. I have to say no to this one for now. I wanted to make one but it didn't work out... Sorry 😞
💝🕯🙏❤️❤️
I love your Video! Thanks for your ambition to make us a part of your knowledge! It was a pleasure to work such a beautiful flower with your help and by your giudeline. I am upcycling a lamp which should help me to have good light while I am crocheting or knitting on the couch in my relaxing evenings. Go on like this, it's so much fun working after your wonderful described video. Greatings from Austria, Simone!
I am just about to start this, it is the best one i have seen, have you done a tutorial on the sea hawks wall thing ,i would be intrested in the myhusband l9ves them xx
Hi, thank you 😊 And now for the bad news... no I didn't do the tutorial for the sea hawks wall thingy and I was looking for the pattern but I must have lost it when my PC said enough (had a little incident with my PC breaking down big time). But... I can give you a hint... if you look for a "seahawks cross stitch" you can use that chart to crochet a wall tapestry. Hope it helps.
Thank you so much, I eill look for that xx❤
Can you please make a pattern for this and post pleaseee ❤❤❤
The diagram for the crochet letter H can be found here: www.thecrochetcircle.com/tutorials/crochet-alphabet-letter-h hope this helps
Okay Honestly i feel like its a lot to ask but im just a beginner so i cant read diagrams! Sorry 😔😐
Hi,I love to learn this and its so cute. Is the increase means 2sc in one hole?
Yes. It means 2sc in one.
@@TheCrochetCircle tq for reply ☺️
Do you have a letter keychain pattern like a smaller version please
No I don't. Pehaps try with a smaller crochet hook and thinner yarn to make a smaller crochet letter? A 1mm crochet hook will make a much smaller crochet letter.
Hi your tutorial is super elaborate but how do i work the directions as a left handed?
Oh... now you got me... I hope the diagrams help. To be honest... I... don't know 😞
I made the whole alphabet for my granddaughter. I was wonder if you have done any tutorials for numbers?
I am so happy to hear that. I can confirm I already made the patterns now I only need to record everything... I hope I will be able to make it soon.
You are a lifesaver!! I attempted another pattern that came with a doll and it never worked, using yours I was able to complete it following along and it came out GREAT! YOU ARE THE BEST! Your video and instructions are clear and easy to follow. I like how you count out your stitches and don't fast forward, that you have a written AND a video pattern. I can't say enough good things about you and your video. THANK YOU!
Thank you !
I wanted to crochet a starfish amigurmi and came across your video. Very simple instructions and easy to follow video. Thanks for posting.
You are welcome. And thank you for the feedback!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. this is one of the best things I ever crocheted.
Happy to hear that. And the letter B is on the more difficult side of making crochet letters. Great!
A very well explained tutorial thank you 🙏.
Thank you 😊
LOVE IT!!!
Thank you! Happy to hear that
For the body, I started with red yarn and switched to black for round 11. For round 12 and after, do I continue with black yarn?
Yes, the bottom of the crochet ladybug is black.
When you make the first row, do you put your hook through the front loop or back loop? I prefer the back loop with how it feels more comfortable, but then I end up doing back loop only for the rest of the project and then it looks wrong to me.
It depends to be honest. Yes, the back look is the most visible one. If I know I will be only working 1 row in the chains then I like to go trough 2 loops (the back loop and the back bump). But then some patterns call to work the chain base from both sides (top and bottom). So I usulay adjust to the pattern.
I tuoi lavori sono molto belli come la tua spiegazione, mi puoi dire per cortesia che filato hsi usato è acrilico o cotone?
Hi, I used cotton (cotone) and thank you 😊
@@TheCrochetCircle Grazie ❤
Thank you so much for this tutorial.
Glad you liked it 😊
This video was so helpful. Clear, concise and I liked how you pulled out a row to regroup. It made it so much easier to follow.
Sometime a mistake is not if you can fix it 😉
Thank you so much for sharing your gift so generously ❤ my 9-year-old is having a forest birthday party and we will have a slingshot competition and treasure hunt, bonfire and all in the woods. I made her a pair of crochet ruffled bloomers and we needed to make it more foresty so we bumped into your acorn video and loving your style and we feel so lucky we found you! We are making the acorns to attach to her costume. She’s crocheting with me, too ❤️ many many thanks for all that you do! You’re amazing 🫶🏼👌🏾💋✨❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Stop counting so loudly
Gurl shut up
I know it won't be the only one I will be making. But for the next one I will have to go yarn shopping :)
Where could I get the pattern for this cute octopus please?
It is a free pattern that I found it here www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tiny-octopus-6 Thank you Anastasia Kirs (Pattern © 2019 Anastasia Kirsanova / nansyoops) for this amazing Tiny Octopus crochet pattern.
@@TheCrochetCircle thank you so much! I'll try to make it! Normal size tho! 😃
I like that she explained what a decrease and increase was because as a beginner I had no idea
I am trying to do my best and hope on the way that it is explained so even a beginner can understand. Glad it was a good tutorial 😊 And thank you 😊
Thank you so so much. I will try to do this
Do reply to my query
I did 😉
Do these water colour stay on the crochet pieces for long? I want to start painting but confused whether to use fabric paints or watercolour is enough?
Once they are up there they are staying. I do love how the watercolors mix and give you a nice transition from one color to the next, even if just going from white to light pink. But, depends on what you want to do with your crochet work. I know my flowers aren't going to be soaking wet, so it is OK for me to use watercolors. But if you have a high chance of crochet things getting wet, I would then suggest perhaps opting for textile colors. I never used those, so I don't know how they mix. Hope it helps
@@TheCrochetCircle Do the water colour comes out with touch , or like dust or something?
Thanks so much for the tutorial…I made 6 letters for my grandkids, (2 H’s, S, L, E and an A) as Christmas tree ornaments. I decorated them on the fly and I think they came out quite nice
Thank you for letting me know. This is such a sweet thing you did for them ❤️
Can you make a full video please??
hm.... nope! I apologize but microcrocheting is (at least for me) something that is hard to do and film at the same time. Yes, small bits and pieces and even that it takes like 5 times to make those few stitches . Here you can find the pattern: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tiny-octopus-6 Thank you Anastasia Kirs (Pattern © 2019 Anastasia Kirsanova / nansyoops) for this amazing Tiny Octopus crochet pattern.
