Just subscribed to your channel brother 👌🏽👌🏽
👌🇦🇺✌️. Mopar old school for life .
Hell yeah brother 👌🏽👌🏽
I just spotted this episode, I have not seen the donor motor until now, this is a great project.
Cheers Tim 👌🏽👌🏽
Rob Bergman's VF hardtop was brilliant. He was towed into staging by his brothers General Lee. Tex in the Satelite was shit hot too. Lisa Gregorini shut the door(slammer) on Ronny in the AC Delco. Great meet. And it was great to meet you at the Street party. And who is gunna put up a tubbing video first, you or Jordie
You won't recognise the name. I'm Mopar Robbie
Haha was such an awesome weekend , I worked out who you were brother don’t worry . Can’t wait till next year . Probably me lol
That was excellent , long ride there and back for you, now get back on to the VC!
Almost 5 hours one way , we left at 6pm Sunday night and got home at midnight , I’d do it again in a heartbeat 👌🏽👌🏽
Pressure wash and some linseed oil! She’ll be right.
Ready for the road 😂👌🏽
Good old grey motor they are awesome things, driving it would be interesting. It went that way just follow the brown cloud.
Haha cheers mate , she’s parked up as yard art now , and it’s almost in 2 pieces 😂👌🏽
I'm late to this. Hang on to those original black and white number plates. Old plates are much desired by collectors now.
I have returned the better one back to the original owner 👌🏽 they said I could keep one , I’m happy with that 👌🏽👌🏽
How's pedo Pete ans balksack ? Still working for ya ? Fair suck of the sav she's pretty cactus great runabout for shazz
Good Vid' Cuz! Interesting Mopar ''Do Dad's'' 😆History! 🤟
Cheers man , much appreciated 👌🏽
Debur the coolant holes to keep metal out of the block and pump. The entire block needs to be flushed with pressure.
Yes it surly did 👌🏽👌🏽
Hey Brent. I did comment on here before, about how you did this vid better than me! Also that I've shared it. Must have had a word in it that the bots don't like 🤔
Cheers , hey did you see my comment on the pacer video about my donating you a roof ??
@@unclebrentsshed4253 Looks like my reply to this one has disappeared too.

Boring, My US mates didn't think so. 🥝✔️
Cheers brother 👌🏽👌🏽
Another great episode! It’s almost time to start putting it back together!
I need to tackle the other sill panel first then will start on fitting up the front suspension and engine 👌🏽👌🏽
@@unclebrentsshed4253 it’s been quite interesting seeing footage of someone pulling the front end apart. Keep it up
273 is a legend motor so glad 🇦🇺made the effort on the oil lines or we would not of got this motor .
Yes that’s right , love the LA engines
It’s getting better and better.
Cheers Tim 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Good Mopar yarn Bret. I’m glad Chrysler made the effort to do the oil lines or we may never got the Legend 273 . Mopar for life 👍🏻🇦🇺✌️.
Yes true , I wonder if they made prototypes? Maybe every car was a prototype 😅😂
good job Brent interested in the broken bolt removal, seems a shame not to remove those uppers. Thanks for the video
Cheers for tuning in mate 👌🏽
Has no one remade a rhd cross member. Interesting to see how the carried out the conversion
A lot of people are turning to Rack n Pinion which is probably the route I’ll take 👌🏽
That some crazy engineering to make that work.
Cheers mate , thanks for turning in 👌🏽
Awesome vid Brent, lots of really interesting stuff!
Cheers man 👌🏽
Interesting 😃👍🏻
I was thinking , it makes me want to reverse engineer a car back to left hand drive 😂😅👌🏽🤦🏻
The oil pump is a double acting piston driven by a pin that is offset on a disk. My picture shows a screw on the housing that retains a bushing. Removing the screw will allow you to introduce penetrating oil to the bushing and shaft to help free it up.
We still haven’t touched it lol. , but I’ll definitely have a look and check it out , thanks for the tip 👌🏽👌🏽
Mate loving this thing 👌 I have an S series here has a modified k frame with rack and pinion plus Toyota mounts. You are welcome to it but located near Canberra Cheers
Oh wow , is this the famous coopzcarz from RUclips? You’re a legend mate , love your content man . That cross member sounds like it needs a new home with me lol . Could you send me some pictures please 0416005894 cheers Brent
@@unclebrentsshed4253 thanks mate dunno about famous but that’s me. I’ll grab some pics tomorrow.
@@coopzcarz7312 cheers , thanks for the picture 👌🏽👌🏽
Awesome Work Brent! Its all comin' together 😎😎
Very slowly brother 👌🏽
amazing boys!
❤️❤️❤️
I'm really enjoying the VC ...back in 1966 when I was 11..my dad came home with a brand spanking VC V8 in metallic blue .. what a car ! He did 100,000 miles by November 1969...mainly country at cruising speeds I cannot even mention but yeah..three figures that may even have an 05 at the end. 😂 As kids my view from the back seat was his hand coming down on the console shifter and dropping it back to 2nd..whoosh! He had many new Valiants, starting with an S and through to CM 318.. as a school kid we went to the factory and watched VCs being built, they tanked them in phosphoric acid or something that got into all the crevices to prevent rust..but nothing is going to protect a body forever ..specially if it been in the weather for decades..feel your doing this body justice !
Cheers mate , what an incredible story you told , I wish we could turn back time and do it all over again ☺️☺️
Thanks for another great show! Looking forward to your next episode
Cheers mate , much appreciated 👌🏽👌🏽
@@unclebrentsshed4253 I’ve been curious why your sticking the 1uz in the vc? Is it because you have it?
@@Brad_Castle yes basically , was almost free and better engineered than a stock 318 👌🏽
@@unclebrentsshed4253 that’s pretty cool, I like seeing new creations that rev to 8000!
Really good.
Thanks man , I appreciate you watching my videos and commenting , thanks again 👌🏽
nice work bro, keep it up. Whats happening with the charger on the hoist?
I’m practicing on this so I don’t ruin the charger with dodgy technics lol
Looking good. I can't wait to hear the 1uz scream
Same brother
This old Val is going to be a weapon when done. Another enjoyable vid uncle👌
Cheers mate , very much appreciated 👌🏽
Another hreat vid mate
Cheers mate 👌🏽
Wicked work mate!
I’m practicing for the charger mate , don’t worry I have a plan 😂👌🏽
Block deck looks good. Different types of head gaskets prefer different roughness averages. I generally use copper spray sealant as well.
Yes that definitely helps 👌🏽
When can I come swim in the pool Brent
Anytime mate ☺️
Sorry Buts it true
😂😅😂
When can I come swim in your pool the only reason why I liked the pool video is because Avah was in it
LOL😂
You can come over anytime you want 👌🏽
Sorry But it’s true
Hope you didn’t bother to come down to the Gawler swap meet today, most of it was land fill.
Yes I did , got some bargains 👌🏽
Another great video buddy
I’m trying mate , hard to put a video together sometimes , busy with work and family and doing other jobs that aren’t worth videoing lol Cheers 👌🏽
Nice, i was waiting for the body to fall apart hahaha
Yeah she’s pretty wasted 👌🏽

Cheers, brought back fine memories the LS400 - words like "cut cat" spring to mind.
Haha awesome , it’ll have straight pipes on it soon lol
Great video!
Cheers brother 👌🏽
Love it, sounds awesome
Great vid mate.. love seeing forgotten old donks coming to life one more time
Cheers mate , thanks for tuning in 👌🏽
Love the CM model owning one myself (on my channel) I think you need a diff ratio change. That first gear pull was crazy. I went with an Eaton truetrack in mine with a 3:45 ratio but also mines a mild 318 too so most likely would be different anyway. Mine sits on 3,000 rpm at 100 kmh. Bloody great cars though
What’s your channel brother?? I’ll subscribe to you 👌🏽
Great idea although I’d take one more step and adhere sand paper or emery cloth to the plate instead of lapping compound. The reason is the the compound will be wearing the tool as well as the head/block. I’m planning to lap my Model A head and block soon. The method I’ll be using is a piece of tempered glass laid on my machined cast iron table saw with sanding cloth lightly glued with low strength contact cement to the glass. I’ll cut up some 6”x48” sanding belts .
Yes that is a great idea , the only reason I did it this way is that I thought it was going to be quick lol Turns out it wasn’t. But we got there in the end 👌🏽
