Nothing kills me more than to see an idiot working with hot molten metal wearing open toe plastic shower shoes. BTW- the heat from the metal goes somewhere too, and it’s getting transferred to that water that you’re splashing all over your feet. It’s not just the molten metal that can smoke your piggies.

I appreciate the video, but this doesn't seem like all possible impurities have been removed. I would think you would have to go through an electrolysis step to insure that to be the case.

I would of melted the gold into anode plates and refine it using a gold cell recovery all this using nitric acid and breathing in NO2 fumes is toxic to do my way is safer .

I find it a bit of a waste when some silver which may contain stones or other potentially sellable materials are just melted in the same pot. I dont know why just niggles at me a bit

It's so silly. Melt gold, then turn it into a bar. Then melt the bar, and make a different bar out of it. Then you'll make a chain out of the bar, untik someone decides to sell it, and then they melt down the necklace to make a new bar.

Yeah your seeing the number wrong!!!! The starting weight is 1100 gram of gold not 110.1, so yeah the 900g gold bar is about right!!!!
