Born and raised in Las Vegas and went to Utah State. Have done this drive at least a dozen times! Except an additional hour and a half on the way up to Logan. Mountains are always beautiful. So much peace and zen driving home and back over winter break.

When is the US going to look at europe for traffic advice? WHAT A MESS the fact there was already a moment the driver had to brake for someone 10 minutes into the video lol. Also what is the point of a 5 lane highway if its not sorted by speed and right hand overtaking is allowed? Now its literally just a clogged up obstacle corse, i mean this is not rocket science.

Nice video! I’ve made the trip Hundreds of times, but I take what some say is the back way! Which is the 118 to 5, to the 14 then to Pearblossom Hwy which is the 138 to the 18 which is Palmdale Rd to the 15 in Victorville! I fist moved the Vegas in 76, moved to Southern California, mainly Simi Valley in 84, then moved back to Vegas in 99, until 08! I didn’t make it back to Vegas after 08 until Jan of 2021, Although I’ve seen a lot of changes over those years in Vegas and the drive to and from, I was Shocked at all the changes from 08 until 21! Especially on the Strip! I would say that 13 year period probably saw more Building than at any other period of the same time! In 2008 either coming or leaving Las Vegas the Silverton and the South Point were the first or last things you seen! Now as soon as you come around the Mountain you see Homestead and Apartments everywhere! And the two Hotels and Casinos are still 20 minutes away!😁 I’ve been back about 15 times since 2021! For Doctors and Business! Every time I have the same response! What the heck happened 😁it’s way too big for me now! P.S. I liked the last part driving at Night, in all my trips I only drive at night a couple times!

Why can you only drive so slowly in your country? It drives you crazy, distances increase and you think you're treading water, they should lift the speed limits on the highways, like here in Germany.
