I question the claimed efficiency of the 777x. The fuselage is made from aluminum, so it's heavier than an equivalent carbon one. The wing is carbon, but I've yet to see a Boeing wing that doesn't have to use vortex generators, which increase drag. Each wing has five flap fairings, or "canoes", which increase drag. The A350 has just three canoes, and no vortex generators.

its a dead idea and design like the max it should be scrapped immediately. The problem is that materials technology and physics just cant operate aircraft of this design with two engines. The distortion and stressing in the airframe would just pull it apart in use.....suprise suprise the test plane is just suffering from the problem forecast. Conclusion sack all Boeing designers and the incompetent board at Boeing as it demonstrates to the world it just cant built aircraft any more.why are incompetent directors still at Boeing asking the USA taxpayer to subsidize their stupidity? Well for a start, Airbus planes don't fall out of the sky or have doors fall out of the sky. But beyond that, Airbus planes are generally quieter, offer more passenger comfort, are usually larger, more technologically sophisticated, have more ergonomic and similar cockpit designs between models, which allows pilots to cross-train easier.

Airbus is successful because of European Capitalistic Culture as compared to US American capitalistic culture. In Western Europe, a product like that they will not compromise simply due to cutting costs, and some dudes in a suit say ‘You make those wings not cost more than X! You find a way. That’s the end of it!’ And they have to make up some plan for that. They engineers, financial planners and experts work with what the executives desire and say ‘It is only possible up to here and this far alone). and the executives say, ‘damn, okay.’ And they’ll have their successes too. But whatever the plans may be they cannot compromise the company culture of always improving in every aspect. There is no exec who can just fvck that up by saying ‘I demand this!’. This is one of the reasons Airbus will always be far ahead of Boeing: their control, innovation and overall developmental plans are far superior and don’t have egos in the way.

Airbus is safe Boing has landing system problem. Boeing 1 out of 10 does not land normal. Being Avionics Engineer I can explain the problem or anyone working in Boeing factory.

Just imagine how good an aircraft Boeing could design if it spent the money on designing aircraft rather than suing airbus. Boeing had 3 main concerns. 1 fulfilling military contracts, 2 suing airbus, 3 designing and building commercial aircraft and their priorities seem to be in that order.
