WRONG.. panhard goes from body to diff to keep diff from leaving.. bottom rod is a drag link, top link is a steering link.. as to ifs, better ride, good for street,, no good 4xx4.. coils & solid diff, best.. dont break. cv,s break.
You guys are in the parts business, but keep referring to the drag link as the Panhard. At 2:03 and 3:51, JJ reaches for a bar connecting the axle directly to the frame. But, he's interrupted each time by the guy behind the camera. I really wish we'd gotten to hear what his name for that part was. (Hint: *That's* the Panhard rod, a.k.a. track bar). Also, the bar you're calling the idler is the tie rod. Thus, the "tie rod ends" at either end. An idler arm would be found on a parallelogram steering setup at the opposite end of the center link from the Pitman arm. That's not this setup.

GM needs to get rid of their JUNK IFS and maybe they can compete with ford and Dodge
chevs ride better,, so your comfortable when you replace the cv.. dont they give 2 free when you buy a chev.?.
No need to replace cv axles anymore because I did a solid axle swap on my 08 duramax dually last year 👍🏿
