Poor Sephy. I feel that when he turned around there, it wasn't a ''hey I'm a legend'' move, but a : ''hey guys, this is a win for us'' move. All throughout Sephiroth's lore pre Jenova status, he never basked in the ''hero'' status. It shows in Crisis Core that he cared for his friends Angeal and Genesis and really craved that ''I'm one of the normal guys'' status. despite his superhuman abilities. He was completely ignorant of the fact that Genesis genuinely wanted to be what he was. He believed their training to be just fun, when Genesis treated as 100% serious. In the OG, granted; he was very cold in flashback but the remake makes him more human. In Cloud's story, as told to the others in Kalm, Sephiroth comes across as genuine and decent with a moral code. He saves Tifa's life, searches for two hours for the missing trooper who got swept away, (that look of devastation on his face when he failed to save the trooper is more telling than anything else). In that flashback, Barret declares that Sephiroth sounds like a ''stand up guy''. Which he was, and for this reason, deseres a redemption.....

It sure would be nice if the writing was better.... We never get a clear understanding of why Cloud can match Sephiroth in strength, or at least come close to doing so. The whole plot of FF7 and Remake isn't really that well explained or crafted, it's all kind of convoluted. I feel like if a Western studio had the job to remake the story of FF7 that they'd do a WAY better job.

To be honest he looks stronger here than when he is older, but thats mostly cause he doesnt really try anymore and doesnt use the flashy spells as much xd

Thank you for doing this and saving a lot of people from this game's predatory practices. However, are you able to edit this down? There are long sections where you don't take any actions and there is nothing going on onscreen. There are loading screens and battles (w/o story dialogue) that haven't been edited out. There are sections where it seems like you went to the bathroom and left it recording, leaving either a full minute of nothing, or a full minute of lingering on a choice unimportant to story (YT viewers don't need to read the 3 gacha choices for a full minute). Respectfully, there is a lot of fat here. It almost feels like you largely didn't pay attention while recording, and that you didn't pay any attention while editing - if you indeed edited at all.
