Thanks so much for sharing your stories, Jane! I have a similar one: I went to a friend's birthday dinner and I ended up sitting opposite two people I hadn't met before. They were whispering and looking at me as I ate. I (quite uncharacteristically) said "Sorry, are you talking about me?" One of them responded by saying "Ya, we are just saying how you eat so much but you're so skinny!" I didn't really know how to take it - were they trying to be complimentary? I also didn't feel skinny at the time, so my immediate thought was that clearly my portion size was what off and what was making me feel "not skinny" The two people and I have since become friends and I've told them the story of how I felt, and as you said - they had no idea I was facing issues about my body! The more we open up this conversation, not only will people become more sensitive, but people may feel more comfortable about talking about the struggles they've had! Cx

Hey my girl <3 I'm so sorry you have had to go through such a struggle, in all the years I've known you, it never struck me to think you were so hard on yourself- I remember you to always have such a glow about you...we all have our things though. I too have struggled with weight and my identity- Oh how I know so much of angry running! And especially after my accident, I also had to learn the long and painful lessons along the way. Your video moved me and reminded me as to why I loved your company so much when we were kids. Keep up the amazing videos lv xx
