sick. this is my same workflow exactly. I do tech videos and am always swapping screens. do you find the playback sucks when youre in sequencer unless the track is muted? is this the best way also, its what ive been doing for like a year+

when I do this my video is upside down and is not fitted on the screen
sorry to hear you had those issues, hope you managed to fix it. otherwise, it's usually a UV Issue. and can be fixed in unreal/ blender/ other 3d modelling software.

How do I change the mapping texture type to "point" as it is in blender? Like I have a texture that I applied on the same mesh in UE4 but it's output is still not correct after I scaled nd changed xy coord. as the same in blender but the blender's texture output was coming correct. I noticed that there is a 'type' option in the mapping texture node in blender in which u can choose from 'point', 'texture', 'vector' & 'Normal'. It was set on point that's why the texture output was correct. How do I get this in UE4?
It saved my life..... Media source was not playing in the preview and render. No one taught me how to fix it. But it gave me the answer.. Thank you so much TT

why not using MF_Tiling this is to long
Never heard or seen this in any other tutorials when I researched it. does MF_Tilling allow to rotate the textures aswell?
whenever I link the custom rotator to the UVs, the texture changes to a normal colour. Wood for example just turns to a brown colour.
It sounds like the texture is being stretched, basically zooming into the wood texture? it is edited pretty fast, are both your 'U' and 'V' on a default value of 1?
What if i have milions of meshes etc and i cannot add them to sequencer?
I would try create a group/ folder with the meshes and try add that to the sequencer? I'll try have a look when I'm free

Found out UE5 doesn't like mp4s from davinci resolve and had to run it through a video transcoder like HandBrake. After that it should work normally, hopefully that helps someone

It renders out only black frames, in the sequencer looks ok but at the end only black, any idea?
When it comes to more complex lighting. You may need to render without the alpha channel as well as the alpha render pass (the black render) and composite using video/ compositing programs with the alpha as a mask on the 'Beauty' render. Hope this helps. Best of luck with your projects!

Is there a way to add lights to the cars?
I haven't checked, but I'd assume if there isn't a pre-set. you should be able to add an emissive material to the light and add a light source to the car body hierarchy?
Is this Ray Tracing or Path Tracing??
I'm sure used the default Realtime rendering- rasterization. As I'm not certain if Lumen uses realtime raytracing. I'll try make a future video using those methods. Best to you and your projects!
Is there a way to get it to default to the *first* frame of the video instead of the last in the time before it starts playing?
Sorry I'm away from my desk and it's been a while for me. I might try adjusting the placement of the video track in the sequencer panel. or trying change from 'is active' to 'is locked'? at 0:40 if that doesn't work, I asked GPT and this was its response, (it's not always right but often goes in the right direction) Select the Media Player Asset: In your sequencer, select the media player asset that is associated with the video you're playing. Adjust Start Time: In the Details panel, look for the "Playback" section or similar settings related to playback. Set Start Time to 0: You should find an option to set the start time. Set this to 0, which will make the video start from the first frame. Preview and Adjust: Preview your sequence to ensure that the video now starts from the beginning.
