I am trying to do simulation for solid rocket motor do you have any idea how to do that ??
im trying , to make a CFD simulation for a hybrid rocket . if you find anything plz let me know
@@AyoubSEBTI ok
Hey Jason, Great video, thanks a ton 👏🤝. I am trying to build my own liquid propelled engine, would love your suggestions. Is it possible to connect?
After nozzle u used expanded duct...can u explain me why that is used after nozzle
I suppose that ansys analysis the flow in closed areas There are other programs like the one used in the air shaper site could handel open surface flows ,it will requires a good compititational power
very good video. thank you
so cool!
That’s a cool ass vacation bro hope you are having fun
Wow! what a fun exploration also, not the frizz drizz rizz sheeeesh
tutorial pls
Great vid Jason!
collab?
What a beautiful young man 😘
where is the fuel inlet?
Excellent for beginners
2:54 How to unconstrain the line.
Very good video! However, "Your access has expired" sums up the Fusion 360 experience perfectly for many.
my program isnt printing out the results, do you know why?
same with mine. Did you finslly fix it? it says Output file:null NOT found.etc
audio very poor but good info
Hi, thanks for this informative video but I'd really appreciate if you can teach me how to add a file, I mean like a csv or txt file into Pycharm project or directory. Thanks! Edit: I'm just starting out in Pycharm
👌👌👌👍👍
can u provide the link to the cea software plz...
thanks for this!
I thought it was great. I don’t care about the arhs and umms. Do more complex drawings please
How did you validate this?
gg ez no re
Looks like FLEX 7 PDE
Good effort, but FAR too many... arhs and umms.
Haha thanks! Still working on that one...
Very well explained!
How to create the LOX and Liquid Methane and start the combustion?
off topic: what video editor did u use?
Super helpful video
Nice!
What was the outlet boundary condition type? Was it far field pressure or outlet pressure?
pretty sure it is a far field boundary condition. everyone who shows exhaust plume typically uses that
@@Mr35diamonds Thanks bro,

If ur making bell shape nozzles then you must make 80 percentage bell nozzle 😬???I am right or wrong ... don't know😑😑
It depends on what you're designing for. You're right, normally they go for 80% to save on the length (and therefore weight). But if length and weight aren't too big of a concern, a there's nothing wrong with a 100% length bell nozzle.
@@jasonchen5761 ya right I was designing a rocket nozzle similar to that of electron rocket ....also please can you provide the code of python wich you used for calculation
please please please can you give me the code for calculating the dimensions of the engine
can we get the python code for calculating the measurements please we need it.
Nice speaking.
Probably a school documentry, but am watching it anyways. Minor flaws: 7:00 the cap is on? 4:57 She is reading off a poster or something, couldn't she just have her thumb in the page she was talking about and get to the page that way? Or remember the words and look at the page? - Constructive criticism.
17:00 you predicted RocketLab's reuse program Also great video! Thank you
How did u meshed it ? Can you upload viDeo of that
I have problem with interior nozzle ( nozzle curve inside domain).
Very helpful thank you for posting this. How would this process differ if you did have a 60% length nozzle?
Why dont you just design your nozzle using Matlab. It's more professional method.
@@MohamedSayed-re3il That's definitely true - using Matlab w/ the method of characteristics (MOC) is normally how it's done these days. However, the precision sometimes required to manufacture that sort of nozzle is high, and using just a parabolic approximation has been shown basally only differ in performance from MOC by around 1%. This 1% can make a difference, but MOC also generates a really long nozzle, so most designers have to truncate it anyway (taking away some of its performance). So, it's really up to the designer, albeit objectively MOC is advantageous.
If you only wanted a 60% nozzle, you would need to also ensure your exit radius is still the same - basically, you'd need to "move" the exit radius line closer to the throat, and then repeat the process as outlined in the video. Shortening nozzle length can also be done with a "minimum length nozzle" - it's where diverging section only contains the concave-down "contraction" section (without creating that little arc as shown at around 9:00).
So this is for the inside face of the engine, your outside face would be milled to match and then what thickness based on material used???
take me back 😍
where is part 1 man please share link
