I set my gear up with the older "H" suspenders, 3 day butt pack with a canteen on each side. Two G3 magazines pouches (to carry 3 30rd AK mags each), two M-16 magazines pouches for ammo on stripper clips, I first aid pouche, and and Cold steel combat knife.
