I used to live in Knoxville and visited Gatlinburg often in the 60s and 70 s. It was always crowded in season - hardly anyone there in March. The last time I was there in 2017 was a disappointment. It was less of a fun, charming town and more like a large strip mall. The restaurants not as good, more in line with the strip mall image and not individual good restaurants. More McFood. I haven’t been back.

FYI: The BMW driver talked w/another youtuber early this year, about Jan. or Feb., & said he'd been battling cancer but at that time is now cancer free. I hope he still is & continues to be.
