Vencida cover.

hey guys, what is the conversation between Colin and the staff about at 47:11
me gusta bailar este disco
It sounded great. Everything was right where it was supposed to be. I like the whole album experience not just a song here or there. Its from front to back. Thats a real nice treat most people will never get to see cause they only watch the official video of a song or more from an album. I cant thank you enough for taking us for the ride. Im done........
Ive been listening to this album, or this whole video for more than a few years now. My favorite College radio station WPRB PRINCETON played a song from this recording. They said the whole album was recorded in a basement studio an was on you tube. Im really lucky i didn't wait cause i would've forgotten about it. I consider this music my Private Stock. Others around me are an will never be able to open thier minds a little more to different kinds of music. I know im not highly intellectually stimulating. Tell me folks do i have good taste in music just by me sitting here like i am right now Aug 30, 2024......il say this, when they went in to record this album every thing is in its right spot. Folks 4 more months 2025 will hit the odometer. Il be looking at 60 years of age in November. I know il be listening to this album on the 28th. I want to do a listening party if they still have it. It would be very cool to thise that make it this far. Holy shit im losing my train of thought here. I hope i get to hear from a few of you folks on that day. Alrite Already thank you for letting me share. Have a pleasant evening folks.......
Codex is a fucking masterpiece, the dark, steady percussion always constant and haunting...the piano as the catalyst of the melody, bass adding more depth and giving some sort of serenity-like feeling, ambience from Jonny and Ed for the atmosphere Radiohead is oh so hailed for...the horns taking a more soulful and melodic approach and the greatest instrument of all: Thom Yorke. When he sings the part and jump off the edge I just get chills.
thats a debatable, yet not by me, statement indeed ! Yes I absolutely agree with that, plus even nowadays as they progress, they delve into all kinds of experimental, acid jazz, all sorts of superb stuff you cant compare to The likes of pablo honey or o0k computer (to mention just a couple of the greats), not cos its better OR worse, because its in a completely different league and continues to be truly brilliant as their style matures, changes, pulses, electric, amazing, love them
As a new fan... This is legitimately my favorite album outside of the golden three, it's got such an IDM feel that I adore
Pure genius!
Love Thom Yorke
I need this brass section extended 22:02
My initial impression was that a lot of the time, the guitarists were just trying to make themselves look busy.
Sillout
Wow them polyrythyms are brilliant!!!
Bloom, morning magpie, lotus flower and separator has been my sleeping aid on repeat for many many years now. I wouldn't change it I don't think. Always works.
Little By Little has reminded me of my grandmother who passed away 8-11-75 since it was released for some reason I can't explain? I was 6 y.o. Her name is Myrtle
I drift into lofty planes hearing Thom sing. Even more than Chris Cornell's vocals
The university they attended would be so very proud
This is just so beautiful. 2nd track is golden. Now the 3rd is starting 🙌
If you label this a failure, your ears, mind and soul are obviously limited
The King of Limbs is simply amazing. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
How…how can this be? Like each album, it just washes over you. I’m always left with amnesia, like coming out of a dream and just having that great feeling. I love the return. I never tire of it.
This is incredible
Amazing!!
Amo este tema 😂❤
i need that little by little intro on loop 😩
best video on youtube
These guys are good, they should maybe record an album or summat
Explorers that explore do this..new found land...ya'll ...keep exploring..btw...one of the best bands ever...yep
One day, whether you want it or not, Radiohead starts clicking for you and then that’s it. This album is beautiful and live is so powerful.
I love how everyone shuts the fuck up once Thom gets goin.
Their drummer is..... O_O edit: actually the whole group is just a miracle
Just real art.
I still remember the day this released, gives me shivers. TKOL is Underated™️. Like just of their music, live is so beautiful.
A remarkable assemblage of musicians in their prime, both technically and creatively. This recorded testimony that this happened is a treasure. If we ever have to lock our most important art in a vault, this better be among the most important parts of that collection.
Posted 10 years ago? Wow. Peak humanity right here.
Ive never heard anything like this before. 😊
love it!
Wow, so, just going into the second song here, um, so, uh, music is supposed to be an expression of thoughts, feelings, experiences, etc. It is supposed to make the listener feel what the composer felt when it was written. And while I wouldn't listen to the first song to get myself into a happy and jolly mood, I CAN say that intro song quite literally put into music EXACTLY what it felt like , to ME anyways, to be driving through busy city Miami traffic and New York traffic , driving home from clubbing all night, coming down from coke and not drunk anymore but still up feeling. All of that anxiety and self judgment and regret and shame and fear and PRAYING I just make it home already to lie down and pretend they none of it ever happened. I am sober now. Today, and MAN , that intro brought me right back to those moments. So, while it is NOT my cup of tea, it is still aging to me that they were actually ABLE to CAPTURE THAT FEELING in song. But, now my spine feels all weird , my entire central nervous system is now tense. So, I am going to change it. Butt, holy fuck. This , this was, interesting.
Eschelon
=p
I absolutely love the studio versions, but these versions really are something else ❤️ back to listen to separator AGAIN
Give up the Ghost at the end of this is just SUBLIME! 🙂
