I went to university with Kasper (the 2nd guitarist, on the far right of the stage in this video) - super nice bloke who also was in Hexis before they got really popular, I think he is in a harsh noise project named Skær now. And yeah I'm surprised that neither Arakk or Justin Hate nor Whorls never took off, Red Apollo however did apparently become moderately popular across mainland Europe.

I remember not understanding this band's music when I saw this concert myself, now it finally clicks for me - impressed at their sense of instrumental interplay, building up and releasing tension, switching between different tempos as well as their dynamic between mellow and heavy parts. Can understand why they came 3rd in the lineup between the faster more aggressive sounds of Justin Hate and Whorls, as well as the slow pensive drawn out soundscapey funeral doom of Arakk.

not often you see a Fender Telecaster used in music this heavy!

I am pretty sure I was at this concert, heard about it through one of the guitarists in headliners Arakk whom I'm friends with. Remember being impressed at Justin Hate so adeptly crossing black/sludge metal with an impressive sense of building up tension and switching between elements from different genres, leaning towards the hardcore punk side of the equation a level more than most other bands crossing those genres. Wonder why they never really took off, their unusual band name perhaps? In any case this footage brings up so many memories for me.

Very interesting band, kinda reminds me of a cross between High on Fire and Lightning Bolt. I saw them the following year as support for YOB.

Great concert - interesting seeing so many "Thunder on the Fields" songs being played as early as 2015! I've seen Demon Head many times but never at KB18 before that venue closed, that was however where I saw their singer's other band Alucarda as opener for Castle and Year of the Goat. (also seen Coffins, Dragged into Sunlight and Ufomammut there!)

Great live performance of "Phoenix Cluster", one of my favourite Vidunder songs - really brings out "Secret Treaties" era Blue Öyster Cult vibe which is the main reason I like this song so much!
