Is a person holding the camera? I would think a toddler, or maybe a duck, could do a better job. No idea what you're talking about, cant see it. Terrible.
Get some one to point up your camera. We lost important info
Our side french doors open inwards. Total weak point.
Great advice, but couldn't see anything you were pointing at.
Break a glass window n go in
Tell your photographer to show the actual point where you are doing the work. You keep showing your elbow when you should be showing your hand. Lol thanks
You can install a pin instead of screw. It can quickly be pulled out
please don't published a video without reviewing.
And also we never have to worry about the cameraman breaking into anything because he can’t even hold a camera in the right direction let alone break into someone’s house
Hahahahahahaha
And then I’ll just walk up and rip your T mold off and open the door the same exact way
Aren’t those doors installed the wrong way? Why are they swinging outward? The hinges are exposed to the outside where someone can just pop the pins out. That’s why that bar protecting the button from being pushed is on the inside - It’s supposed to be on the outside if the doors were installed the right way. I’ve never seen a front door installed where it opens outward. That is just weird.
Why would anyone put that jam piece on the inside door instead of on the outside door? Common sense tells you to put it on the outside door not only to prevent theft, but to keep the rain and snow out in a driving wind.
Mike, thank you! for pointing that out, I did exactly the same thing w my open out French doors. now to look into the middle piece for the outside of the doors.
Why drill through the handle????? Every locksmith in every video has said to drill drill drill.... I use a 5/8 in wooden dowel and put it there. That latch is not coming down. No holes through anything.
Camera man please!!!
Maybe the door is more secure, but what will deter a malicious person from breaking through the glass or another access point?
Tks for the tip, I’m in the process of getting double front doors installed
simple fix: big dog
Just came across this video. The person behind the camera needs to be fired. They had one job to do and failed. Thanks for taking the time to explain this common problem though.
Great advice, sadly the burglars are seeing youvideo as well. It reminds me of the person applying for unemployment money from the government. Occuption was put as "Burgular" reason for unemployement was: Due to covid, every one are now home in lock down. So he cannot do his buglar work! We all need a laugh :-) Thanks Again for your excellent info.
Ish the cameraman did a better job. Got the message though. Thanks
What’s going on THAT Camera man ???????
I cannot see what you talking about! Your camera man need to learn how to use his camera...
Open your eyes 👀
Thought this was Jason Blaha
Fire your camera person!
The one recording is bad
The way to fix this is to install the doors correctly :-) ...(to have them swing inward). But nice to see that this is an actual thing.
Swinging out is the correct way if you're in a hurricane area.
@@pedevildog Ok, that might make sense actually...Maybe a KEY descriptive start for the public watching.
Great advice. Thank you.
An "average " locksmith.. smh needs carpenter to do his job 😂 ta loco
The camera work is atrocious no help at all bye ya!
mike you just saved my familys life, I have the same exact door , I showed the wifey your little experiment and she was scared shitless, we live in a good gated neighborhood so we weren't too alarmed, but fixed the problem asap I order new flush bolts with the latch and a aluminum t bone, and a nightbarracade and we used 3 1/2 inch screws on everything not even the swat can get in, but most importantly you forgot to mention the external hinges you have to add a 1/4 cd 1inch tension pin inside the hinges to enforce it
FYI ...Gated communities are more targets to burgluries than none gated, but they involve large ticket items. They are a major false sense of security. Also in emergencies, by law, depending on the emergency you can be locked in.
good info!
Why would an exterior door swing out? I've never seen one installed that way.
Florida Hurricane Building Codes
indeed this gentleman didn't even realize something cheesy about this video😂
Exactly 😹 and why would u leave ahuge gap between the doors
Or they can just break the door....
Didn't know Jackson Galaxy was a locksmith.
That made may 1st april day :-D
Your camera man must be blind.
Yo
Setting the screws in rods hmmm would love to have seen that install. ty for sharing
