Disclaimer: This video was made 3 years ago when I didn't know fabric paint existed. now I would defiantly recommend you use fabric paint for these bears because all other paints like acrylic paint will end up being very stiff.

I have a few quick techniques for all my fellow artist on how to smooth out your crayon artwork (these methods will blend your crayons too). There’s two methods for getting your blending with crayons to be seemless and creating a smooth texture but before you start blending and smoothing, First your going to make sure when your Coloring and doing your blending that you use very firm pressure (careful not to break your crayon) because this will make your surface nice and waxy and will get rid of any white spaces now you can follow method 1 or 2, personally I found method 2 to be the best method. Method 1. You can create a smooth texture by taking a pallet knife or old card and scrapping off all the wax until you get a smooth texture 2. This method Is the best but takes more time, you take a blow dryer and a blending stump and melt the wax with the blow dryer while you blend with the blending stump. I’m not great at explaining things but I hope that makes sense you y’all

for the first step handle, am i supposed to cut the wire for the handle or is there a small piece of wire specifically for it? i’m so lost on that
