European Parliament Marking the Good Friday Agreement 25th Anniversary
Beautiful.. Hume Foundation brilliant. I hope I can contribute in some way. President Clinton has a real down to earth side.
What an artist. Fair play Brenda.
Is that in Londonderry??
Great song, no doubt. However, later creates another song I.e ‘ Irelands Call’ an abortion of a song created to replace the Irish National Anthem. All to appease the planter Rugby players and supporters, and some of them won’t sing that either. 😢
I visited the Guildhall in May. It was wonderful to come upon this performance here. I also like Onoir's version of this song
the best of ireland from derry great performer no one can sing or play this song better than phil coulter .may god bless ireland and its citizens from derby uk thoughts are with you at these times we are in

I've known this song for about 50 years now, heard it in many different versions, and keep coming back to The Dubliners' version, as Luke Kelly's interpretation of the lyrics has always spoken to me in a way, where I could close my eyes and see it all as if it happened right there, here and now, in front of me. Today is the first time I've ever heard Phil Coulter play and sing his own great song, and the way Phil sings it gives me a whole new dimension and meaning to the lyrics. I found the album "The Songs I Love So Well" and saved this video so I can listen more to how Phil interprets his great song 😀

A giant of a man. Courageous and principled . The North of Ireland's new generation of politicians are fine but not in his league .
Great song written by him, but no one can sing it the way Paddy Reilly can!
You may like the singer you know better but, I will always adore Phil Coulter especially for this song!

Nobody in music has a right to this song but Phil counter our derry hero legend I'm from donegal .border of derry. Phil Coulter is a proud derry man.
I’m a Newry man and this song is so beautiful and poignant for this part of the world . No matter what we went through we just got on with it and thankfully the dark days are now finally behind us
I have been a fan of Phil Coulter since the late 80s and I have never heard such a beautiful version of this particular song I absolutely loved the background vocals and I have always loved this song ❤❤
Une chanson du groupe breton Tri Yann qui me fait pleurer à chaque fois, quelle belle surprise de l'entendre en anglais !
i was to derry twice.i can only imagine what the residents went through . GOD BLESS them all
I'm far from Derry. I'm from Lebanon. First time I heard this song, I melted and cried. It touched me deeply. Despite the Derry references, it applied to my town in Lebanon that I loved so well too. That's the genius of Phil Coulter and this song. ❤
I’m just 🎉
