I thought you were gonna show how to create a mockup not blend logos on an imported image 😢
a more detailed tutorial would be another video, this one is ti answer questions and its a simpler hack to get mock ups with Image fx

pretty awesome but we all know it aint take 10 mins from zero to full logo, however great video on the process and explanation really enjoy how you think of whats needed and incorporate it in the text, really awesome thats creative thinking right there.
true but Some logos can take 10 minutes or less to design, however the expansion and presentation could take days or weeks. I do however, appreciate your feedback.

Great video but there is something like i want to tell not every logo have true meaning what their brand represents. Some logos are abstract format and it is what it is. The reason could be someone liked it or want it to be their logo... as simple as that. But i love the process of making logo, a thoughtful or brainstroming or it could be mind-mapping. Yes! you can tell some logos worth million and some are made free. However i really appreciate your design and thought process behind making this logo.
If you're a designer presenting a logo to a client, you need to present your idea behind the logo, not just "I made this nice picture for you". If someone has downloaded a generic logo from some site for their brand, sure, but behind every design should be meaning, even if the logo is abstract. This is why it's called design and not art.

Thank you for you comment and feedback. I however am a believer in the fact that even if a logo is abstract, it should mean something about the brand on some level.

thank you for this. you made mention of importing your sketch, before the next process. i'm curious, how were you able to import your sketch into Illustrator? was it through taking a picture of what your sketch looks like?
Its quite easy, you take a photo or screenshot and then import to illustrator like any other image
