hi thanks for sharing
You're welcome
What's that Warning notice on the trolley about..
Great spot Dave!
Thanks
LOL Dave was Labor Day, the city was boring hahahaha
Alot of people were out of the city
Nowhere as crowded as it used to be in the 1980’s when you had anchor tenants Knob Hill Farms and Sears. I still remember the arcade game cabinets along the path between Knob Hill Farms and the rest of the mall - Kung Fu Master and Ghosts ‘N Goblins.
This Mall have quite the history
Haven’t been there in about a decade. Kind of bummed it hasn’t got a renovation. Even if it was a little one. Crazy that people still go here.
It's in a good location
I'm shocked to see this mall that busy. The flee market is overpriced junk. You wont be able to flip anything from there.
The mall is still holding on
Can’t believe that Tim Hortons is gone from the area off mall
It's true
I'm soured on flea markets. Here in Quebec City I got 6 PS2 consoles and not one of them worked add to that all of the heavily scratched discs-just a worthless pile of old junk!
There are a few characters that sell at Flea markets
A year ago i saw this festival in person and was aamzing. Missing Toronto so much
It was once a great outlet mall..buses would come from the USA. Even the Flea market is not what it once was. It's never busy😂
I don't know what went wrong with Dixie outlet mall it was once busy now it's just empty 98% of the time
Is there a nice matching festival for Tibetans, one wonders.
If there is, and I have time, I will film it
Yes, there is an annual Tibetan festival in Toronto, as well as several other regular public celebrations. There is a Tibetan Cultural Centre that is very active. Tibetan Canadians have built a massive monastic complex in the countryside to the northeast of Toronto. It attracts many visitors, Buddhist and non-Buddhist. The Tibetan community in Canada is small compared to some other Asian groups, but it is highly respected. There is a neighbourhood in Toronto often called "Little Tibet" where I go as often as I can to eat at its many Tibetan and Nepali restaurants. July is by legislation Tibetan Heritage Month in Ontario, and the Dalai Lama is an honourary Canadian Citizen. Yes, we are all aware of the unjust conquest of Tibet by the Communist Empire of Beijing. Remember that Canada's Chinese population includes many people who fled that evil regime, especially after the repression in Hong Kong. It is not difficult to find many Chinese Canadians who are in solidarity with the people of Tibet. The whole idea of Canada is for all its people to live in harmony and mutual respect. We don't always live up to that ideal, but it is clearly the aspiration of most of us.
@@philpaine3068 VERY may thanks for that and I'm glad there is such a large Tibetan survival prospering there. Though not Tibetan myself, I've worn a Free Tibet lapel badge from the 1980s. (Not that it's done much good!) . China is something of a worldwide threat these days.. Perhaps some day Dave will show us the areas you mention!
I don't know how long ago but they actually had a pool with fish stocked in it and you would pay to fish
I would have liked to see that. Hope there was no smell.
No the fish are at the Mississauga Flea Market
@davenowesintoronto it was in the flea market area.. if you caught one you can keep it. They would charge you for cutting it up so you can take home to eat.. this was probably 45 years ago? I was 5 or 6 years old..
I never heard that, but im sure you maybe correct. @MrNutz52
These “outlet malls” in Canada are all a joke. There’s no cheaper prices. You pay the same prices there you’d pay at a “regular mall”. They just put a bunch of “sale signs” in the windows hoping you’re dumb enough to think you’re getting a big deal. Not a bad mall though store selection wise for a small outlet mall just outside of Toronto.
I plan to get a few items there. I will check the prices.
Proudly Canadian. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks
Great video. Thanks.
Thank you
hahah Dave is your laugh for me!

Hello hello

Thank you very much
It doesn't look much different from NYC.
I think so
Canadian tire
I live in those towers on dixon and chetta
Rained ALL Summer in Scotland too.
Yo!
I don't know why they made it open concept. Should be sealed so people are protected from the elements. Would be fine in California, not here. I like the rest of it though.
Just a little mall but it's got all the basic necessities covered. That supermarket building has heritage status! Some of those businesses have been there for decades. Home Hardware, Rizvi Electronics, bowling alley, Zorba the Greek (in the food court).
True
As always a great video!!
Thank you

It's Missipissing out
you can run the audio still and let the cooling continue as well as you can just switch off the video mode porsion for some of it. Sq1 is quite nice as for a rainy day, coming off Duke of york will take you to underground parking.
Not so funny, when it ain't sunny!😁
Thank you🙏♥️
No problem 😊

Great video Dave 👍🏼 Thanks for sharing this. 😄 Cheers from 2 Canadians 🇨🇦 living in Mexico 🇲🇽✌🏼
Thank you. Another one tomorrow
Use to be good shithole now
Graffiti is just dirt. Deliberate dirt. Like the way many dirty-up their skin with tats. Most graffitists have already done that to themselves.. Then they just wanna spread it around & decay the city like their skin. While they scoff drugs in buckets-full.
The Canadian Tire is always empty, they won’t be there long. Very few people shop in there, too much competition and too expensive with Costco and Walmart so close by. Very strange design of this Mall.
