My new take after getting the HG Nova. Wash, by spraying with a 50/50 mix of distilled water and Simple Green and wiping with microfiber and then a deep cycle on the Nova. Clever but it feels over-designed. The typical anti-stat guns available on the market likely does the same job but at a fraction of the cost, plus it only takes a few seconds to use on a record.

Love the quicker dry time especially. Is this machine any quieter than the original model? The original has a very uncomfortable high pitch sound. My buddy also has one and his cats go running every single time

I have one, and have before and after photomicrographs to show it works - it does! But it scares me silly to use it, as getting liquid inside a cartridge is a disaster, so you have to be very, very careful. Well just got mine … And it doesn’t work ! The record doesn’t spin ; even after replacing three times the wheel. We’ll see if there is a real customer service…

Wish you had played the record before cleaning then played it after cleaning for a comparison, but Copyright rules suck.

How the hell do you even get chalk on a record?!!?? A real test would be to get a really gnarly thrift store lp , show the grooves through a "jeweler's lens" THEN wash it and show the grooves again , also a before and after play test would be appropriate. Thanks.
