So you copy paste the list of underrated games ,which occurs fir years, how about some own effort ,to keep it up fresh ? Its Kind of boring , you uses other peoples opinion , which is magical wise your own...so many underrated games ,but jeah making a own vid is tough

after finishing hollow knight and blasphemous i was looking for a good metroidvania game but wasn't finding any. Didn't knew any of the games you mentioned but will definitely check out all of them

The Mortuary Assistant is really one of the scariest games on this list. Visage is scary as hell too, maybe even more so. But Mortuary Assistant, it's just got that huge creep factor. You might not see something standing there watching you for at first, but then you see it in your peripherals and it's like YOOO. I think the worst ones are when you go to put information in the computer, and an entity speed walks up to the desk and stares at you until you look away from the PC, and it's really, really scary. Or sometimes they'll get up on the cabinet and stare down on you. Ugh. The gameplay is addictive too, makes you learn to speedrun a little bit as you memorize the embalming process and can sometimes identify a demon on the first body with as little as two sigils. Then sometimes you know who the demon is and what house it's from, but you need all four sigils because two of the four names have 3 sigils in common, and really freaky stuff happens the longer you take. Since it's randomized unliked scripted horror games like Amnesia and Outlast, it's hard to get totally immune to the jump scares. From the Darkness and Welcome to Kowloon are really short indie horror games that I think were really good too and had jumpscares worse than RE7 ever gave me, while obviously RE7 is a better game than the rest for being fully fledged out and awesome. I've been playing Phasmophobia for the first time, I have about 25 hours in so far and I only play solo for maximum horror effect. Some ghosts are chill, give you what you want and it's easy money. And then others gave me this terrible anxiety, where I actually start feeling cold in real life, and make me run to the truck, scared to go back. Some ghosts have killed me in 3 minutes, and I think the death animation in Phasmophobia is scarier than any Resident Evil or Dead Space death. You're in a fleshy room and the lightbulb breaks and you see yourself laying on the ground dead after. I think the fleshy room is the inside of your brain, that the ghost went inside your brain and turned the lights out. Freaks me out and pisses me off, perfect feelings for a horror game to elicit. Amnesia and Outlast are scary the first couple of playthroughs, but they aren't as replayable as the other games, and lose their scare factor when you know what to expect. I played Amnesia in the dark in my basement for the first time as a teenager, the basement was old and dungeon like, dirty and cold. Several times I felt the fear get to me, such a good game.

RDR2 is a wannabe movie. It has the worst gameplay because of the frustatingly linear level design in main missions. I mean I dont expect video games in general to have the best side missions but atleast main missions should be interesting. There are so many main missions where if you try to get a little bit creative or go 1 inch in the opposite direction of the main objective, the game will show a mission failed screen. In a mission where you have to rescue Rainfalls' chief's son, the game literally tells you who to take out. It is a frustatingly linear stealth mission. Had it been any other game, the game would have asked you to rescue rainfalls' son according to your creativity and intelligence. No but this is a game made for children where the game holds your hand. If you are having "fun" Rockstar's way, it is okay but dont u dare try to be a little creative. Want to take a shorter path? Nope cant do it must follow the yellow line. Rather take a Bethesda game over this trash

I mean Sekiro isn't belong in that list, only thing can be time consuming is mastering the combat. Once you figure it out, it's a smooth sailing 😅💯
