What John Brown did is completely different from monstrous KKK domestic terrorist acts, Ted Kaczynski, and Timothy Mcveigh *If anything, he could be ranked with William Wallace from Scotland, Joan of Arc from France, or even Spartacus from Roman Empire. Perhaps even closer to or higher than Daniel Shays (whose rebellion lead the creation of US Constitution when America was weak with government's disunity and disorganization at its birth) and Whiskey Rebellion (questioning federal government's powers especially on taxations) since Brown's crusade eventually had people talking about slavery issue more than before*
