That is NOT a back pressure valve nor is it a valve. That is the EBS (exhaust backpressure sensor). Your EBPV is completely different and located on your turbo.

I called them and they said I will have to pay out of pocket. Same model you have there??

Not with those cute Frenchies you have. Mine goes after mop pads, brooms and everything else. Cute dogs. I watched your Samsung ice machine problems and mine does that too. I also cannot get the large cubes. So I sent for a new filter and I cannot get it to go in all of the way. For a seriously new and expensive fridge, we should not have these issues. I like indoor ice maker

I got mine “fixed” as well. Hate to break it to everyone but it doesn’t work. Froze up again after 2-3months. Better than before but still a pain to defrost. Trying another fix which is an aftermarket dehumidifying pad. Hope this works.

How did you open the ice maker like that mine won’t open

Fake news. I called last month, and I was told it's certain model, and even at that, the judge has yet to sign off on it, and Samsung didn't admit to anything. That is what I was told by the representative. My fridge is 3 years old.

Just got off the phone with Samsung, scheduled a service, all parts and labors will be covered by Samsung, I had heard that Samsung would take care of it but this video convinced me to call, I’m glad I did, thank you!

They came out fixed it and the ice just melts and we get water all over! This is the 2nd time they have come.

Unfortunately for me I cannot find my serial number so they told me that there's nothing they can do without the serial number. 😢

Question for everone,,,, after they fixed whatever the issue is, has it done it again? Or did this completely fix the ice issue? I have the fridge that has a ice maker on top and bottom and both arent working at all anymore.

Just called today and Samsung apparently has issued a “special warranty” for the ice maker and they have opened a warranty ticket with their approved repair vendor. My fridge was purchased in 2015 and is otherwise out of warranty. I suspect the class action suit has been a great motivator for Samsung and they seem to be standing behind their product. Why mine they said free replacement, but the tech call me and have to charge $140 unfront “Hello, we are reaching out to you in regards of possibly setting an appointment for your Samsung unit to be serviced. Samsung has indicated that your unit is only covered for parts. Our company requires an upfront service fee of $140.00. This sets the appointment and covers the charges for the trip and diagnostics of the unit. On the day of the appointment, there will be a separate charge for labor if any.”

Well I just got off the phone with Samsung about this .... and the tech said free of charge...... I will be back with an update.

I replaced cps I have a p1280 code ipc. But there is no oil in plug. Should I just replace it anyway?? Thanks. Truck starts and runs fine for about a minute then just shuts off. When running I unplugged the icp sensor and truck still runs. Can that be bad and not have oil in plug.
