Thanks for the ideas in this video! I’m trying to make a mardu angel deck (big fan of the orzhov angels). Tariel was the only option (high cmc cost) until Kaalia got reprinted (picked her up cheap). My deck is pretty budget and isn’t gunna be super strong, but unfortunately Kaalia puts a target on you. Hopefully a new mardu angel comes out soon I can use instead. How about Duelist’s Heritage instead of (or in addition to) Flaming Fist? You can put double strike on any of your creatures instead of just your commander, or even your opponent’s creatures to get surprise blowouts (great with goad!). Concerted Effort might be fun as well with Elspeth to get the effect across all your creatures, and because the art is on theme!

Angel tribal was my first ever deck build too. Started in modern back in 2016 and then converted it over to commander a couple years ago with Giada. Probably my favorite deck I own. Yours definitely gave me some ideas!

Great deck list! I love Gisela, though I think Angel tribal decks are much stronger with Giada, Font of Hope as commander. She's basically designed for this role. Mono-white is also very strong with cards like Extra-planar Lens and Caged Sun (though I do love Boros also). Gisela unfortunately attracts too much removal and takes costs too much to make a viable commander.
