Explanation of Public Speaking Syllabus Pt1
The real problem with teenage driving deaths is shitty parenting. Raising the minimum age to legally get a driver’s license would be a lose-lose situation and make those who pass Driver’s Ed at such an early age increasingly impatient about getting their driver’s license. Firstly, when teens get their learner’s permits as early as 14 (the minimum age of most high schoolers), they learn how to drive from their parents or whomever their legal guardians are. How teens are driving is initially the responsibility of the parents from if they were taught effectively and whether or not if they pass Driver’s Ed to legally obtain a driver’s license (first at the intermediate level and later obtain a full one if they have a clean driving record). After this speech went public, her suggestion on raising the age to obtain a permit, and then a driver’s license for both the intermediate and full stages only ended up in backlash that turns into out most people disagree with her suggestion. She fails to point out the responsibilities of the parents and other guardians whom kids are being taught while having a learner’s permit and before taking Driver’s Ed. In conclusion, her suggestion to raise the minimum age to get a permit and/or license is just laughable.
Here for Mr.Pucci's class

Veeeeeeery boring. For those whos watching it for speech- She is reading off her notes too much and it already lowers her grade. Her facial expressions are the same just like her tone
yup the dynamic expression isnt there at all lol very monotone
what exactly is main point #1
DARN IT MEHUS!!!!!
1:20 I wonder why 16 and 17-year-olds are less skilled than older drivers? Maybe because these older drivers have been driving since they were that age. If it's raised to 18 you'd still have the same problem. its not age that's the problem its the experience.
Imagine if people started driving at the age of 10. They will be great drivers by the time they reach 16!
Watch the whole video :) clearly you forgot to edit after watching the whole thing.
Maybe you should continue watching the video to the 4 minute mark most importantly where she addresses your concern.
thats the point
I felt so sleepy
she wouldn't be saying this if she was 16
Thats exactly the point... 16 year olds are not prepared for taking this kind of responsability, listen to the whole argument again and you will see.
this is the gayest sht i ever heard
I lost interest throughout, didn't interest me.
Hakdog mo teenage

eh.
Kinda curious to see how many of my classmates are watching this for their final exams for us to critique. XD
I had to watch this twice in high school in 2011 and 2012 for different classes, in university in 2013 for a class, and now in 2021 for a class back in college. Let me tell you, this is no more valid or interesting than it was ten years ago.
I’m here in 2021
Here in 2024. Same homework.
