I understand the why a non-Sturniolo fan would have that reaction, but I think what people need to understand is that not everything the triplets do on screen is how they act in real life. They've mentioned numerous times in their videos that some, if not most of their reaction are exaggerated, including in this video, when matt starts throwing nicks gifts because he very obviously purchased them for himself. They're entertainers and reactions get them more views. I assume that the reason why matt reacted like that is because 1. the calendar scratched his eye (which hurts like hell) and 2. because he was in the heat of the moment and was overreacting, but not because that's how he acts irl
