My God I've been wanting to watch this performance for years! THANK YOU so much for sharing! Tina's vocals are gold as always. I guess this was when Julio Iglesias was promoting a new album in France and Tina happened to be promoting "In Deep" there as well. They thank the audience in French at the end of the performance, that's why I guess it was in French TV.

A little back story from Troy on how this moment came about: =================================== Many moons ago, I had a dream. 🌙 Her voice captivated me from when I was a little boy, hearing it emanate from a darkened movie theatre. "I want to spend my lifetime loving you." As the years passed by, I started listening to the radio. I became familiar with the vast catalogue, and the new tracks. "This voice sounds the way I want my paintings to look." I thought; rich, atmospheric, and with great finesse. In 2013, I set the goal to paint her for The Archibald Prize. I was in my early twenties and with little painterly experience. I hadn't yet encountered Italy, and Italy is where we are made. I contacted her management and received a polite "no". Not this year. I tried again the next year, to receive the same response. She's overseas. She's busy. The following year, I met her in a music store. I presented a flyer to my exhibition "Fragments of Florence". She gazed at the image thoughtfully: a painting of a lion door ornament. "The old masters are my heroes." I said earnestly. "Mine too." she replied with a gentle smile. In 2021, I saw a photo of her posing with an old master painting. I decided to comment, with playful abandon: "Tina, your Florentine portrait awaits." She replied. "OK Troy. It's time." Derrick, we used to be Facebook friends many yrs ago, we were on a tina fan website, remember hayley mcolough? Wow I'm going back to mid 2000's

Tina gave a chapter of her childhood to my family that is remembered to this day ,my now 50yr old daughter and still my baby girl would watch Young Talent Team religiously with her best friend just to see Tina ,and I confess that I thought she was the most talented kid on the planet, nothing has changed , now with the emergence of social media,Tina is being "discovered "by the world at large as she shoud be,I find it ironic that some of the worlds genuinely great artists, who Australians have grown up with or have been introduced to in the past few years are just now being recognised globally I promote them endlessly in comments to reactions as do a bevy of Aussie RUclips followers ,and it seems to me that it's working . Tina along with John Farnham are Australian national treasures and everyone shold get on board to promote them and our other musical talents .

I totally understand where Tina is coming from when she mentions her son's childhood and her own. Yep i got to build kites and fly them, build karts and ride them and catch tadpoles.:-) It made my eyes water. Tina is raw, intelligent and that makes her the creative artist and singer that she is. Tina and olivia, what a great compilation.A whole generation is now beginning to pass on.. John Farnham, Ice house, Midnight oil, and Jimi barnes still kicking it.Change is inevitable.But the Australian music industry and scene is fantastic in my humble opinion and still going strong!!!
