Pack Forest, Trail of Giants & Reservoir Trail
We are planning a trip in may
Hey I’m going out that way hiking in a few weeks, just wondering if you remember if that creek area is roughly where opossum meets up with rockywood trail
I don't remember, we only hiked it once. I found a trail map on line which should answer your question.
Does this trail connect to bud blancher?
Yes it does. The Bud Blancher trail takes you to Little Mashel Falls. Don't make the left after the bridge and go to the parking lot at Pack Forest. 1000 rd north is there and that's where we ended up.
@@chrisfletcher3703 awesome thank you! I was going to start at the bud Blancher and stop at the Pack Forest. I'm trying to avoid the waterfall. Planning a RUCK for 2025 if you're interested. I have another channel @keeponRUCKin Mother RUCKer🌬🥾🏔🌲🌲🌲🤟
It can be confusing. And the frustrating part is if you get on one of those "roads"...its not very pretty to look at. Its a hit/miss experience. But hey you are in nature and hiking is fun. I like Mima Falls...everything else I can take or leave.
I like Mima Falls and did a video of the hike
Thank you for posting!
I Loved living on Anderson Island, but now it’s crawling with the Communist Leftist. Now we live in north central Washington state, but since the Communist left Seattle who worked for Microsoft and moved about 40 minutes away, we’re moving to Montana to escape the Communist Leftist. They’re like a cancer destroying one city at a time
Wait until the Buckley Enumclaw Foothills trail bridge is finished. You can ride to Enumclaw.
Great nostalgia trip for me. Spent my young life in Romiley and the canal was a very significant part of growing up.
You'll see graffiti alone the Buckley section of foothills trail down closer to the flume and white river.
Have ridden the Foothills trail in Buckley soon the white river trail bridge will be finished this summer and will connect to Enumclaw section.
Awesome thanks for the info Robert
@@chrisfletcher3703 You can start at the East Puyallup Trailhead and ride it all the way up to Buckley. Also their is a wilkeson section but is not yet connected.
@@chrisfletcher3703 You can start at the Foothills Trail East Puyallup Trailhead and ride it all the up to Buckley. Also their is a short wilkeson section but is not yet connected.
I do have videos from East Puyallup to Buckley. In my 70s so I did in sections
Good virtual treadmill at the gym.
Nice!
Beautiful hike 😊

Thanks for sharing this with us!
Beautiful place 😊
The only nice part about Evergreen is this. Everything else is a communist indoctrination center
Wonderful!
I do this one fairly frequently, but parking is pretty overcrowded on the weekends.
What great memories, spent my childhood on Cherry tree estate moved away aged 11, 50 years ago. It really was a wonderful place to live. Memories of my dad jumping that aqua duct, and collecting an armful of bluebells from Jimmy's wood for my gran. Thanks for sharing
This brought back memories, lived on Alamein Drive for the first 18 years of my life. Chris are you related to Eldon Fletcher?. I knew Eldon from school. Been away from Romiley for 40 years now.
Hi Neil thanks and Eldon is my younger brother. Next year it will be 50 years since I left England to live in the US. Where are you at?
Loved watching this. Thank you so much!
this is my favorite trail to bike on its pretty close to my home to j
Wow great video, took me right back to where i grew up. Lived on lime grove, delivered newspapers from the same shop. Also used to jump the canal too at the same point. So glad to see a barrier there now!! Thanks for a trip down memory lane.
Cheers Lee, good times
Beautiful scenery. Love it. Thanks for sharing. New subscriber here ❤️
Ah My House Up and My House Down! Thanks for the memories of 2000-2001. Actually quite a lot down Yong Chong and Aragon Alley, those alleys are where the best clubs were tucked away and recent videos indicate they still are.
Jody it's not like I didn't like your comment, I did, I just had to reload the video because the preview wouldn't show on Facebook
Absolutely love this. I wanted to see more of Anderson Island. Thank you!
I hope they the state will put in camping areas in the near future this such beautiful area
We go to Saltwater State Park to dive in the marine preserve, and it's an artificial reef. It's fishing that isn't allowed.
I learned a few things about my neighborhood. Thanks for sharing!
The tree that's just hangjng there...That's the Tree of Life!
It's pronounced Clay-lock!😃
Never too old to learn, thanks for the correction.
Nice tour. I lived on Chadkirk Road for 20 years - pity you didn't do a little detour to take in the chapel and the woods. Would have been perfect (for me)...
Thanks Matthew and we walked the day earlier down from my cousins house to Chadkirk Chapel and through the woods up the canal to the Spread Eagle. That is why I pointed out both places to my wife who is obviously not from Romiley.
@@chrisfletcher3703 Know it well! Played in those woods as a child. Magical place.
Great! Thanks for sharing! I want to do this ride some day.
Since I did this ride they opened Dune Park so you can ride all the way to Point Defiance. I have another video showing Dune park

Been there.and i am still terrified.never seen so many spirits in my life.and could make a move after what happened to me when it was getting dark and i was alone in the shelter by my self.it was a fight of my life to keep my soul.the demons lost and i will never go back.as much as i would want to.i loved it up there.but life is better.and i hurt my self trying to find that little girl crying very loud.i now know she has been doing it for a hundred years.it breaks my heart.
You started in Sumner
train tracks
Caught this when I was looking for something else in Romiley. A little nostalgia, I used to also have a 'second home' in the Grey Horse [Kicker] Great times, nearly 50 years ago [oh my]. Disco nights and great laughs. Not been down there for 40 years. Thanks for the video.
I moved away from Romiley in 1976 it's great to see the old place again perfectly described by Chris I just wish we could have walked up Guywood Lane for old times sake...
4:17 That big bald spot down there in this scene is our County landfill belive it or not with Rainier towering in the background.
i also came here its pretty cool
