Steve, may I ask which Strings do you prefer to play, Steel or Nylon, sorry, another one, in the Live "Eyes without a Face" with Billy, you use a Godin Grand Concert midi I think? Are they special Nylon or Steel strings? Thank you David

Just got back from the Show in London, Ontario. I go to a lot of concerts. There has only been 3 times where I went to a show and barely noticed the "FrontMan" because the guitar player was so amazing. This was one of them. It was so captivating watching him work. He was ALL BUSINESS. Thanks for the Amazing show. The absolute best guitar player I have ever seen, and I have seen hundreds of professionals.

YO steve! When you play rebel yell acoustic and go to the A chord in open posistion try adding F# on the low E string. Adds a nice haunting overtone

I got the album as soon as released on special order in 1992. Your rhythm playing and tone was again outstanding on this. The almost cocked wah tone from the I assume 69 primo plexi? Fantastic guitar and rock album.

Is there a particular reason why the doubled rhythm guitars have so much "punch" to them? I can physically feel my headphones and monitors pushing an absurd amount of air and yet these are just "guitars". I also can't figure out why these pro tracks have so much high end information that makes these guitars super open sounding. Every recorded cab I have heard sounds gritty and muffled, and EQing the high end up makes it brittle. We need answers Steve...

I play the Godin grand concert SA. There are issues. It is not a concert classical guitar. the neck has fret markers which up set me. the neck has a radius on the fingerboard and the neck is also too thin not radiused on the back side as a "classical" guitar neck must be. So many issues for a guitar where the neck is the only thing. the rest of the guitar is a toy guitar in construction and performance... not a special instrument for me to express my many failure as an artist but ample excuses for bad playing from a non-standard instrument. My guitars electronics failed during a gig the night before a very important wedding gig and it destroyed my confidence in my playing and the guitar. I must be a purist as nylon strings are made for finger picking....a plectrum on nylon strings disturbes me. sorry I can't support your demo or review... godin is over rated in my opinion lacking in every aspect for some one expecting a "grand Concert " guitar... It's a disappointment..

I've been a huge Steve Stevens fan ever since I first heard him. Last weekend my band was playing a festival...2500-3000 people. The second last song of our show we did a cover of Rebel Yell. I love playing that song, the intro riff, the solo....all of it. I suffered a heart attack right on the stage while playing that song. Got rushed to the hospital and made it. Love ya Steve!

I play this in my cover band....it is one of my favorite songs to play. I studied every second of Steve's amazing performance of this....still gives me chills to play it and man it's hard to match the absolute fire, intensity and precision that Steve laid out.
