Sure… where I am on the west coast the dual raw panes cost me roughly $50-$60 for a 36”x36” pane, including gas.
HI, great video. Exactly what I was looking for. Can you tell me what the cost was for the double pane window to be filled with argon gas? Both costs, the window itself and the argon. Thanks!!
Thanks. This really helps me do some things with my mind. Appreciate you for that. Peace.
You definitely can… or just light a couple fires… it cooks it off or carbonizes it.
Do you not need to strip it of the paint?
🏗️🕌
Nice Work 👍
What size and height did you do?
What is the slope on that roof? Thanks. I also enjoyed the music. 👍
Nice Blues background music. Well done video!
A hole saw would have made that much easier
Serious redneck engineering
I LOVE that you started with a foundation for your tools. never really put it to thought but a home for your tools is the start of it all!
Thanks for this. Learned some valuable tips.
So awesome! This is going to save me thousands of dollars. Got quoted at 20k+ for 18 windows. Do you have a design so that they can still open? Thank you so much!!
If you do something with the handle, you can throw a tea kettle up there
The child’s delight with your invention is worth my while.
Why does every video have to have music?
Sooo I'm pissed this video came up under a how too search I did , just watching this dude that obviously knows what he's doing build Windows is not helping me learn how to build my own!!!!!!!!
I like your sarcasm!!!
excuse me sir..what size for this cabin ?
He's a great personality- love the "shoots around corners" bit, lol
Darrel is the real deal. Geat friend and one of my greatest mentors.
Thinking about doing the same thing. How much did that cost you?
this was for a friend. I think it was roughly 25K labor / material ... including excavation.
Why carry 2 hammers?
Hi David, I carry 16Oz utility hammer for demo, and remodel. It has a flush face, so as not to leave marks when doing finish nailing and a steel handle for pulling nails, and doing more aggressive demo. I almost never pull nails with my framing hammer… it’s for placing nails accurately, and the two different hammers I use are expensive and I have had them for many years. 21oz. Steel Deluge for aggressive heavy pounding (walls and roof stacking) and a14oz. tittanium Stiletto for general purposes (and if my elbow needs a break).
Hi Zane, Hope your still teaching young people about economics and hard work. Best person by far that I met up north. Hope all is well, Brian
Yes I am sir! Hope you and the family are well Brian!
You don’t need hoses and cords and mess, it’s called a framing gun man, plaslode. Maybe you don’t have it America. Have a look man so much better
Batteries die, and don’t keep up. The recoil also robs you of the superior connection from hand nailing. You don’t need as many nails when hand nailing either, 👍🏻
You did all that in just 1 day?
No, definitely not one day… Roughly a week, not full 8 hour day.
All that lumber around you! and you could not make a saw-horse! unbelievable!
No need.
We need more content!!
Dude! Your kid is so big now!!
nice... tall walls
❤ OK,, Finally ! This is what I’m talkin’ bout. Good Job’. No rat wall or foundation of any type so I’m thinking maybe one of those screens for the underneath as a rodent barrier as well as the steps you took here to ‘Bug-Proof’ the place.
Yes, the sky is the limit, when bugs and rodent proofing is a necessity. The plastic and caulk is minimum effort. But it has worked great.
Happy Birthday Late
What was the part you used for the back of the van for the chimney? Great build love it
Its a simple pre-cut flange that can be found at most hardware stores. It is an exhaust fitting for a hot water heater actually. I was too lazy to cut my own!😆
What blueprint software do you use?
I usually draw everything myself. In this particular video, the owner did the little garage remodel plans on sketch-up or some other software.
🔊🔊🔊👊👍
I like this already! Love the music!! Oooooh,I saw this one already🤭😄
I'm glad you like it
Making memories and watching the youngsters learn is priceless. 👍
Sorry to say, your'e background music is terrible !
Good video! Is that dog a catahoula?
Yes! At least, partially that we know of! Great dog!
How did you attach the top wall plate to the posts?
The rim beams are anchored to the posts with long timber locks, andb the 2x6 t&g stitch the diaphram together once nailed off from the outside.
@@CROWSFOOT thank you
What kind of boots do you wear?
Thoroghgood! The best mic-toe contractor boot on the market!
I have been wearing thorogood boots for about 20 years now
That build is definitely the Sherman tank of house builds.
Very nice tiny cabin build for the family! Glad to see everyone working together to enjoy it when finished!
Outstanding
I like it 😍
Yh
yer-haw?
Nice and simple...
Thank you! Cheers!
Fun looking project
It was a hoot.
Incredible Carter🌾
I really love the building. Love the land. Thanks for the entertainment
Thank you for the kind words!
