This is great! I wonder if there was any meeting between Fred Allen and Groucho Marx - I wonder if they ever met and/or got along. Both so intelligent and language wizards - maybe George Carlin may have hung with them in conversation but no one else of the last 30 or so years I can think of - objections or suggestions welcome.

I love this idea. Nothing against the musical acts, but sometimes I am here for the comedy not the variety.

Thank you for removing the music! I don’t mind the commercials but the Irish tenor singing … yikes. Kenny Baker was tolerable because he would sing some contemporary songs but later, all the Irish songs … no thanks.

The cast of characters were great. Grew up watching but I like the radio programs better. Hilarious

I'm 81. Listened to the Benny show 1940-50's while my mom had the radio tuned in. Later via Old Time Radio. I strongly disliked every song DD chose; also his voice. Annoying.
