Powerhouse Arts is a not-for-profit organization committed to creative expression. Housed in a purpose-built facility in Brooklyn, the organization hosts an extended network of art and fabrication professionals and educators who work together to co-create and share artistic practices vital to the wellbeing of artists and the communities to which they belong.

Join interdisciplinary artist Pamela Council and Powerhouse Arts Director of Public Art Brittni Collins for a conversation on their 2021 collaboration, "A Fountain for Survivors," and the recurring themes of pattern and play in Council’s work.
Together, Pamela and Brittni will share details of the making of Council’s Times Square debut, exploring the rich visual and material culture referenced in Pamela’s work, and discuss the significance of representation in curatorial and fabrication teams in creating works for the public.

Our new Print Publishing Program seeks to introduce collectors to a diverse range of artists and technical processes made possible through their collaboration with the Powerhouse Arts Printshop. Each artist will produce an edition of approximately 30-50 prints, ranging in price. Artists receive 50% of the proceeds, and PHA receives 50% which is redirected back into the Printshop.
