So yk how you have to die in battle to get to Valhalla? Does a battle with mental health count?
Sadly that doesn't count, valhal is for those who die in battle but also must be deemed worthy. So not everyone who dies in combat goes, there are those who aren't accepted. Those who aren't accepted into valhal go Folkvangr. It's half valhal and half Folkvangr. To be honest tho, valhal seems more like a doomsday curse than anything to me. Being forced to fight day in and day out til the end of times, I'll stick with the afterlife in hel. Definition of peace of mind if you make it to the entrance
It's better to die on your feet than live on your knees. Real warriors fight for those who can't fight for themselves. We know what we stand to lose if we fail. We know what's behind us so we face the demons so they don't have to.
All these people saying stuff like (Valhalla be with us) or (one day the vikings will rise back up and avenge) are probably not even from Norway nor have Norwegian blood and say dumb things like this.
True, most people saying such things don't know that you gotta die in combat to go to valhal. That and valhal is honestly more of a curse than anything for most people. I'd rather just stick with the regular afterlife but some may prefer valhal. These videos are a good source of views so I don't mind it. That and the song itself is more of a gaming song than anything so another reason I don't mind

Everything I used is from assassin's creed valhalla, the scenes you don't know of are probably the scenes from the ragnarok DLC. The character is depicting Surtr, who is a fire Giant and the guardian of Muspelheim. It's said that he will lead the giants against the gods during ragnarok.
