I struggled with "long haul covid" for years and finally more or less got it under control. It took all of my energy just to show up at a job and function halfway decently. And I don't know how I did even that much. I've never considered myself an actively spiritual person, but in the last year I've gotten into manifesting, tarot, divination, and surrendering myself to Spirit or the universe. Sometimes you have to accept that life and all its events are a lot bigger than you are, and you can't resist no matter how strong or resilient you try to be. And also our minds are limited and we don't have immediate access to all information, but Spirit and Source can see all sides and aspects we can't see, and we can connect if we learn how to listen.

I’ve had a kindle paper white for years and am considering the kindle basic matcha rn, but what makes me pause is the inability to immersion read (read and listen at the same time). I can do it on my phone app no problem, but not on a kindle. I still think it’s a great investment.

lol its so crazy, we had a great first date. I know that because we planned for it to end after an hour but ended up spending 4 together. She then called me after the date and we talked for another 40 until we fell asleep lol so I hit her the next day asking for her schedule so I can plan another date, she listened to it (voice note) then never responded. Parts of me wants to get my jacket back, the other part just doesn't want to respond. I don't accept bread crumbs & I can always get another jacket. So I'm not responding to her.

My story is a bit of a complicated one. Before we got into a relationship, I had known her for a couple of years, we added each other on Facebook and she always had me on there. When she split up with her ex-boyfriend (who was violent and abusive), she had me on there for awhile and then un-friended me, then re-added me again. She then told me she would put she was in a relationship but not tag me because it was a bit too soon and because of the ex. She ended up putting a restraining order on the ex, she then un-friended me again, then re-added me again. The other week, she put as official on Facebook, in a relationship etc. Over the weekend, she mentioned again about deleting her Facebook and making a new one as she had lots of people on there that were friends with the Ex and his family. She's now made the new Facebook account but hasn't added me. In the whole time we have been together, she's only ever posted one thing about me besides being in a relationship and that was one of them 24 hour Facebook stories which deletes after 24 hours. I can understand why she is a bit apprehensive about posting stuff on Facebook as with the ex, she had a few pictures of him, pictures with her kids etc. I can understand why some people also don't make their relationship on Facebook public as if things go bad, it gets ugly online. But would I say it hurts a little that she doesn't really post about me, yeah it does sometimes, but it isn't a deal breaker for me. I know people who are married that don't post about each other on Facebook.

I wear the modi ones. I don’t wear them on day 1 bc I am still paranoid that it will go through. I usually wear them day 3-5. I do like them so much better

the whole ‚x weeks of battery life‘ is so messed up. they should just give you the amount of hours you can read. this way nobody gets into it with expectations that are totally off.

i used to read all the time when i was little. then i somehow stopped reading for 15 years. then i bought an ereader (tolino page 2, it’s a german thing) about 3 years ago and i read so many books again ❤ i rarely buy ebooks, i get them from our library, the membership is per year what kindle unlimited is per month 😂 and for academic reading or nonfiction i want to really annotate a lot and really work through it use my ipad. a small reader can’t really handle that task but it’s not meant to be that.

Nice video. I just bought a 2019 Kindle Basic from Unclaimed Baggage for $40. It works great. I use an iPad at home for reading, but I bought the Kindle so I could read at work and while traveling. Honestly, I didn’t feel a need to get any of the other fancy models for what I’m using it for.

I usually go see him because it’s more convenient-he doesn’t have a roommate, but I do. When I’m there, he’s really generous, always cooking for me and taking me out. He’s also quick to help whenever I have a problem, which I appreciate. But I’ve noticed that after a couple of days, he starts acting moody for no apparent reason. When I ask what’s wrong, he says it’s nothing. He won’t define what we are, and I still don’t have his socials or even his WhatsApp. And honestly, the bedroom part? It’s just not working-he refuses to engage in foreplay. We’ve only been seeing each other for two months, but I can already tell I need better. Time to end this nonsense..🙂😭

There is nothing beneficial about situationships. They are nothing but an illusion that may feel real at the time, but reality will smack you down when you realise just how much of yourself you have lost over a fantasy and a person who does not have your best interest. You must be real with yourself, reclaim your self worth and walk away. Get angry, let it hurt, cry as much as you need to. But don't allow them and certainly don't allow yourself to strip you of your dignity, self respect and self worth. Take the love that you wanted them to feel for you and give it to yourself.

I love my kindle. What I recommend is figure out what movies you like and get books similar to that. Like they say and it’s so true. The book is better than the movie. I recommend reading Freida Macfadden. The house made. It’s such a great book. It will hook you on the first page and you can’t let it go

It's not the apps, it's the attitude. I'm a black man looking to find a black woman for a long-term relationship. Ignoring the traditional stereotypes labelled towards black women, the majority I encounter online are either unable to hold a conversation like other women and/or go into defensive mode right from the jump. This makes it hard to build rapport before having a face-to-face date.
