Thanks man, this helped me out
Well explained, you just saved me buying more expensive pool cleaner, thanks buddy.
Nicely filmed and explained. Mine lasted about 2 years before now getting stuck against the wall with water flowing only one direction. The clear direction on how to open it up will save me some fumbles. We have lots of trees around and above the pool, so in my book, the little robot has held its own. Don;t worry about the big pump -- it will help greatly with keeping your pool clean. I have attached mine to a hayward 18" filter and have been trouble free despite the muck that keeps falling in the pool!
Mine was plugged backwards,so be aware of that guys in case yours is also not moving 😊
I’m here at 6 years later and hoping this saves me from having to buy that Aiper robot from TikTok shop! Lol
Thank you for the helpful step by step instructions. Worked like a charm!!
I did all of this and still have the same issue unforunately. Any other suggestions? It's been working fine for years. And the pump I have is more than powerful enough.
Thank your u so much. I knew it had to be something fairly simple!
I hope you get this message/comment since it was 6 years ago you created this video. Your video is so helpful, your directions so clear, detailed. The camera angle is spot on. I was sad to see you didn't make any more videos since you are so good at it. Anyways, thanks again for helping us out. I would love to know how many summers this machine lasted you, or if it lasted a full year?
Thank You!!
OK so no debris & no missing lubricant on my ZX50 : broken ball bearings. This tiny 3mm x 7mm x 3 mm thing controls the movement direction : forward or reverse (with only 1 wheel turning in reverse mode so the pool cleaner actually rotates). But when it's broken, forward direction won't engage. I'll get 10 new ball bearings in 2 days for 4.2 €. They're probably no more waterproof than the original part. No issue, they're easy and cheap to replace. NB : it's better not to immerge that pool-cleaner too long...
Thanks. Some debris inside that valve are probably also the reason why my newer Intex ZX50 pool cleaner is not moving anymore. I'll open and check it and I'll lube moving parts.
cool thanx
I did this and it still didn't move! Idk what else to do
I saved this video. I'm certain, with my luck, it will prevent me throwing my unit over the fence and then having to walk back there to pick it up and put in in the garbage. So thank you... Edited to add: Intex needs to pay you for your contribution...
Great video. I returned this back to Amazon for this exact same reason. Looks like I’m buying it again. Well done 👍.
I did everything the video said and mine was still getting stuck. My sand filter is 1200gph. So I turned on my old filter pump and ran it at the same time as the sand pump. It was working great after I added more pump power.
I have a zx300 intex how do I take it apart
I have an overflow pool It have floor inlet Can I use the vacuum point in the wall to contact it with the automatic cleaner?? Please answer me 🥺🥺
Thanks for the vid! 10 min fix. Works great now and after opening understand operation better.
Mine moves just barely picks up .
Thanks! My impeller was seized up & wouldn't turn the gears that in-turn flip the direction valve. Your vid was very helpful w/ troubleshooting.
Perfect solution. My issue was slightly different in that the valve worked easily but the gears were full of sand. Your video aided in quick dissasembly. I cleaned it all up, used a little white lithium grease on all the gear bushings and it's back to running like a champ. Thanks again.
Bro!!! Thank you!!!
you can probably blow compressed air in there, too
Thank you for sharing I fixed my robot Watching your video
Wow…. THANK YOU… husband is going to try it right now. He took it apart yesterday but could nit figure it out. So fingers crossed your video will be the solution. :) I LOVE this sweeper when it works.
Thank you for this video. Very informative and extremely helpful.
Thats great. I love my vacuum and i knew one side was staying open or closed. It kept turning to right and up against wall. Im gonna tear into it now! Thanks so much!
15 min later..its working!! In my case it was a pine needle keeping it from closing in flapper. A pencil and ajr compressor to get it out.it was stubborn.
Love hat you made this vid. Helped me too. ty :)
Great video! I discovered after tearing apart my vacuum a couple of time and lubing all of the internal parts, that my problem was that my filter needed back flushing. After back flushing, the little Intex vacuum is trucking around the pool so fast, I’m a little worried it’s gonna break through the vinyl wall like Mr. Kool-Aid!
Brilliant
"Hang on... I feel a single grain of sand." My man is a perfectionist! 😄 Thanks brotha! Extremely helpful!
bought this arrived today but doesnt fit jet on my outbound pool any idea what adapter i need
Thank You........
Thanks for video ! What capacity pump do you have?
What a great tutorial. Hate is not a strong enough word. Thanks so much for the great fix!
I was about to buy a new one and ran across this video. Took all of 10 minutes and it worked just like you said it would. Thanks man. You saved me $170.
This was perfect! Mine had sand as well, but it caused my lever to get stuck in one direction. Thank you!
I'm so happy to see this video, I was getting frustrated already thinking it was broke. I will try to fix mines right now, let you know in a few minutes if that's the problem...
It work just like in the video once I fixed it, thanks a lot 👍
Okay, was wondering if anyone just tried jet setting spraying out from the 3 outside ports to remove any flapper resistance?
Thanks dude for making this. Was driving me crazy. You're awesome!
Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing.
I dont have water coming out of both outlets how can I fix that
I knew what i needed to do but was afraid to take it apart and not know how to put it tohether without breaking it. so thank you for being the guniea pig and letting me watch, and all the little tips to knowing which way to know how to put it back... golden. thanks a bunch
Thank you for this instruction! I have to say that the valve even may not be moving hard (mine was easy going). I used silicon spray and now it works perfectly again.
Thank you SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! I got the same problem and thanks to you it works now! Thank you again! Very helpful! Good luck on You tube! 🤗
Absolute perfect turorial on taking apart and puttin back together I also removed my side rails but I didn’t get mine to work the pool I am trying to fix this for is full of destructive kids so I am sure there’s another underlying issue DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY TIPS ??

Thank you so much for this video!
