I could be wrong, but before the shot, the score was 33-32. After the shot, it was 36-32. Was the team that had the ball the one in front? If that was the case, I would be a little disappointed by the fact he took the shot even though I figured it was a fortunate shot.

I've never seen so many parents whine after a youth event to a ref? I'm going to go out on a limb and say none of those kids are going to make it pro, and even if they did this game's not going to matter

Glad I was a mediocre hockey player and was a ref when I was a pee wee. My parent never embarrassed me. Parents bitching at the ref over a buzzer beater is just stupid. Your kid’s team lost it for themselves, it’s not the refs problem. 🙄 One of the top reasons why I don’t and won’t ever be a parent. Obnoxious parents when I ref hockey.

Now HODE ON! The score before the kid made rhe 3-pointer was 32-36. The scoreboard afterwards was 35-36. How did they (the black shirt uniformed team) win? Unless the kid got a four point play from a foul…but then all he could do was TIE the game with a made free throw! 🤪

Just a regular YMCA game where the parents complain and make a fool of themselves and management doesn’t do anything I would kick them of the ymca but it’s all about that membership money so it ain’t going to happen Finger pointing at the referees yelling in front of the kids typical Saturday morning game at the ymca

I was the best athlete in my 6th grade class...totally dominant! Just ask my mom if you dont believe me!!! Anyways that makes me uniquely qualified to argue with a bunch of volunteer officials and timekeepers about the outcome of an intramural basketball game.

The final score was 36-32 so even if the 3 pointer was shot after time expired ( I assume that is what they are bitching about) their team would still have lost 33-32 so what gives, bunch of idiots.

There is no context here I don't think they are upset about the loss, but why the kid shot instead of just letting the clock expire. If you look at the score they win by 4 which means they had a 1 point lead prior to the shot. I'm just saying it's bad sportsmanship to run the score up like that especially when it's kids.
