nice, that TF2 runs great. I missed mine when i used to run it against Tamiya TA03s and HPI RS4s back in the 90s
Thanks for your comment! I am happy that i have kept it for all those years and brought back to life once again :) I also enjoy driving it!
nice driving❤
Thanks ✌

I have the same car now for 3 months, and above 2000 rpm they are so noisy, also passing cars and motorbikes you can hear as is your window slightly open. Cannot bare this , feel discomfort and want to change this car, bad....
Did you change your car, or still driving it?
@thelimitedslip thnks for asking. I still have it, dont have a luxury to change it. Keeping it on low rpm, 2200 rpm max. , above it sounds like an old vacumcleaner..And radio now i put on louder:(
Music over the video is really annoying, wanted to hear the car. Couldn’t watch it.
Thanks for your comment, i keep that in mind for my next videos!
@ thank you, I don’t mind if it’s in the background, but just so we can hear the car and all. 🙂
Awsome
Looks a great way to get people into mountain biking
I agree, any age and experience level rider can enjoy it
so sick man
Nice place - where Hard to find any mountains or trails for mtb
Ik krijg de indruk dat je enorm moet bukken bij die northshores om je hoofd niet te stoten, maar wellicht vertekend het beeld dit?
I think it is because of the camera perspective, the roof is high enough..
@@thelimitedslip cool thanks :)
@@AlexanderRoelofs no problem :)
still runs great
I really enjoy driving it
@@thelimitedslip I had one in the late 90s and had a great time racing against 4wd cars with success. It was really fun to drive it. After searching for years I found 2, one is my shelf queen and the other one is for the roads
@@blue3549 I am also considering to buy another FF01 chassis, and set it up as a short chassis for my Clio Williams body :)
@@thelimitedslip nice, hope you find one
I stopped investing in FF-01's. Now built a BT-01 with FWD configuration, not bad. You can check my video :)
Nice Body and cool handling
Hey Dario, i follow your channel! Tires have good grip. In a few weeks i will post a video from an indoor carpet track - FF01 vs modern Touring Cars :) Stay tuned :)
Thanks for the review.
Nice lap! Yeah, not the fastest in a straight line... I know
If you have a nice setup on your car for track, you don’t need big power to have fun 👍🏻
@@thelimitedslip very true!
Hallo! Man sieht beim Fahrer, das er ständig neue Lenkbewegungen machen muss. Liegt an den schönen 18 Zöllern, die aber jeder Rille nachfahren. Deshalb sind in Fahrbetrieb 16er schöner zum Fahren.
Seat hight motor got a plastic gear. In hungary got few man,who make it from steel and repair it about 20€. Sony radios sound is good, quality is s*it. Throw in a bin and buy a good one. I buy an android style radio from ebay about 30€ and works perfect over 5 years now.And looks better, like that antic looks cr@p. A man never use seat heating, its fry your balls, kill your sperm and got later testicle cancer... my mk3 got few problems too...brake is so undersized and 99% of braked discs are shit. I found a good maker name MIKODA. best discs ever!!! With green EBC pads...but the construction itself too small.why??? Too weak to stop rapidly that huge car. Engine, other thing are good.
What is the top speed?
1:56 says 220KMPH
I have a run out model mk7.5 which I really love. It has physical knobs for heating etc - the mk8 was a big step backwards in this respect. Mine was packed out with lots of extras so I only needed to pay for the reversing camera (an absolute must).
I am happy that you enjoy it! Physical knobs are the best! New electronic buttons are a terrible design hype in my opinion.
hocam yeni video bekliyoruz, kuruduk :D
Vallahi haklısın be abi 😄
I've got a Golf 8 Life. It was definitely a good decision to buy it.
Nice to hear that you enjoy your choice!
Get a new seat and fix your blown ant fuse
these are just minor problems
The automatic gearbox is not a good recommendation. Believe me, I was the owner of a Golf 7 1.4 TSI DSG. It didn't increase driving pleasure.
DSG’s are not famous with their reliabilities :/ Thank you for the comment!
regardly to driver seat problems, it will be easy to replace it instead of fixing it (on ebay - used one)
Thanks a lot! 🙏🏻
awesome!
👍🏻👍🏻
Just seen this video and all the seat issues are very simple to fix, they are just very very fiddly and require a donor seat Assuming you still have the car and haven't solved the problems the motor is easy enough to swap, the lumbar is a bit trickier as it needs a it of stripping and the heater pad is most likely to be the heater pad burnt out As you have variable heated seats you might have an issue with the control box in that seat but it's very rare The radio is most likely to be the aerial base in the roof but it might have just cine loose at the rear 👍
Still have the car and still not fixed the issues 😅 didn’t have a spare time.. I appreciate for the information you have given, have a nice day 👍🏻
@@thelimitedslip I've done a few videos now of the seat stripping, then I got the covid and have had to stop, but they're are a few still out there to come so if they help you out 👍
That really was an awesome drive. Nice!
Thanks! 😍
I have golf 8 life
Are you happy with the car?
@@thelimitedslip is perfect
Has it ambient light without being an optional?
@@moneyfldr Yes, 10 different colours.
So today's Gremlins are, fuel gauge stuck on 510 miles for 40 miles, entertainment system turning itself off and glove box and interior lights not working then working. At least its quirky. At least every day with this car is different 🤣🤣🤣
Sorry to hear that :/ I could live some quirky features if they were not coming as a surprise each and everyday. This doesn't sound fun at all..
Šteta što nije rear drive weel. I have got the same. Savršen za divljanje samo mu treba turbo boost
I had the seat issue on my mk2. Is a plastic gear which got broken. Someone made me a metal one and replaced it, but you can find it on ebay as a repair kit. Also the seat heating was broken and I took a seat from scrappers and replaced the heating element. Regarding the radio, try removing it and check the connections at the back.
Is it too difficult to remove the seat cover? I have no idea how to do that. Thanks for your comments!
as for seat problems I would get another drivers seat as it will probably fix height adjustment lumbar and heating the radio looks like it hasn't got the aerial connected pull radio out and have a look
Good tips, thanks a lot!
I own a mk3 mondeo st tdci i know these mondeo inside out with stuff ive done
@@martinburbridge7545 'ST TDCi' - good package!
The height adjustment is usually due to stripped teeth on a gear. You can get replacement gears, but seeing as youve got other problems with the seat, and it is heavilly stained, you are probably better off finding a replacement seat. These cars are getting scrapped a lot now and so spare parts are very cheap. Same for the head unit, The local scrappers has a big pile of them. They are like £10 each, they aren't worth messing around with too much. Maybe check the connections at the back, and check the settings in the menu to disable the seek options.
Thanks for the tip! These would help i guess.. Have a nice day!
Why do all videos I have seen do not show how to put rear seats down flat?
You are right Ronnie, actually I have found it nothing special for this car but I can consider it for the next one 👍🏻
Nice video. Can you explan more about interior sound quality, performance feel and mileage for the next uploads?
Orhan Kösebay Why not? Thanks for sharing your comments! 👍🏻
