After studying Buddhism for 28 years, the first thing I was told, when I tried to tell my story to my teacher... Her words were: "drop the story, everyone has a story, not important. You get stuck in the story and identify with it so strongly you cannot break through". Thoughts aren't facts. Don't believe 99% of what your mind is telling you, it's all pretty much a lie. (The devil is a liar! His first point of attack ALMOST ALWAYS is the mind!) A great Buddhist concept: something happens that is difficult, that's the first arrow, then we relentlessly-perpetually beat ourselves up about it, that's the second arrow, (which is often much worse than the original arrow). And there it is: suffering MULTIPLIED and AMPLIFIED, unnecessarily. My teacher said: "go ahead, worry your life away..." with a smile on her face. And I realized how ridiculous it all was. And you prefer to keep that fantasy playing on the screen of your mind, my dear? Do you love the gut wrenching pain it brings you? Would you stay glued to your seat at a cinema, with your eyes riveted to the screen, watching over and over again a film that caused you to writhe in pain and cry your eyes out for hours on end, rather than get up and walk out into the light of day? You are given ONE focal lens, dear heart. And if YOU DO NOT take conscious charge of that lens, and direct it wisely, IT will continue to take YOU hostage, and subject you to exhausting emotional roller coaster rides that leave you whiplashed and weary for the rest of your days. Accept responsibility for the blessed equipment you've been given, and ask for guidance, patience, and wisdom to help you master it all.🙏 The longing you feel is the soul longing for its own heart, to dissolve itself in love. The longing is there ever since separation seemed to occur and will draw us back in the end: into oneness. This sorrow you should honor and allow, don't run from, or towards anything: for relief, because only when you rest as Self will you find all that pain and suffering... Melting away.

Love is in fact very rational, these are the things you must look for in a woman : 1_personality: their personality must complement yours if you're out going you want someone who is also outgoing but lil bit on the mature side and if you're shy and reserved you want someone who is the same thing but a tiny bit more adventurous, essentially you want someone who has the same mindset as you but is different enough to challenge you which interns will help you grow as a person 2_similar or complementary lifestyles: this is obvious if you're a person who likes to be with their partner constantly you wouldn't be dating a flight attendant or an army woman, similar life style also includes having common interests which translate to having similar intellect, if she is into philosophy while you're a road man the relationship isn't gonna work because you both have different lifestyles even you were together all the time 3_similar beliefs and values: you want a woman who has the same moral and belief system as you! It can be hard but trying to pick conservative versus liberal is a very slippery slope, the conservative woman may question your masculinity and deem your authenticity and vulnerability as emasculating while the liberal woman may be too detached to understand the complexities that come with being a man even if they were well-meaning Finding somebody with the same values will ensure that no matter their political or social affiliation they will be able to understand you and connect with you on a deeper level. Also us humans grow as we age both physically and intellectually having the same values will ensure that you will grow with each other instead of outgrowing each other as you both grew from the same starting point (the common values) 4_superficial attraction: which splits into aesthetic and sexual attraction, I don't like to judge people so if this is a high priority for you then pop off King BUT you will get old and sexual tension will die out eventually, your partner's beauty will also fade away, but guess what the beauty of their soul, their dependability and loyalty will always be there for you, the only advice I can give is that if you're going for looks go for the pretty woman not the hot one NEVER follow your dick especially not with women, because not only will you regret it but the woman can tell and will use that against you anyways that is just my OPINION ! you will never know if what you're looking for is conservative women unless you try them so good luck! , I'm gonna subscribe cause I'm nosy lol

Very clear thoughts. Going to listen to it again and read the script. I am paying attention to myself, but this is not enough and still making "mis take". I am having a conflict with myself regarding my procrastination and trying to do things perfectly, I am also feeling blocked, conflicted, frustrated and upset when the things that should be done are not done, even though I am feelings inside that this will make me happy. I have a wrong perspective, and I am extremely willing to change it. I am going to write down all my feelings and change how I look at the situation. I WAS STRUGGLING FOR MONTHS and never looked at that perspective. Thank you so so much for this video. This opens up a different perspective. A happier perspective.
