Many thanks for this very helpful video - I'm a DIYing mech engineer albeit with no prior experience of combi boilers. Boiler had gone u/s, ironically after cleansing the system ? (moved sludge maybe), so had to redrain down the system and then the boiler too (my first time), all relying wholy on researching YT vids etc. Your video helped a lot in the whole process, cheers. All is running again now and we have hot water in taps and rads for first time after 4 very cold and grubby days. Fingers crossed it will stay so - culprit was an exploded (why?!?) start capacitor in the boiler's water pump, boiler is 13 years old so maybe thats why. As part of the "service" I also cleaned the pressure sensor and AAV, and tuch wood rads are hotter than ever now. Thanks to you and your fellow engineers on YT.

hi, i got this boiler in my new house, we have new radiators fitting. but after i turn on the boiler, there isnt warm on the radiator why Is that?

lol air in the pump lol Turn water off keep shower taps open still after draining then cut the pipes fit the pump and wire up but don’t turn on power. Turn water on again and wait till the water comes out the shower head just leave running for a minute to get all the air out. Then turn off like normal then turn the power back on. Then turn the shower on. Then you will have power shower

Great to watch. Our combi in the kitchen (WB Si compact 30) has a radiator beneath the boiler and then the pipes run up the back of the boiler to upstairs rads etc. and then comes back down in the hallway to feed the living room rads. I can never get the flow/return at the boiler(apart from when starting up) the 12c difference that I have at each radiator that I balanced and was curious that the radiator below the boiler is going straight back to the boiler and therefore giving the readings rather than all the rads from the system? Or does its return pipe run up past the boiler somehow and connect to the returning water from the other rads ? The lockshield is turned down so that it heats up at the same time as all the others. What do you think please.

How can I get the app when there's no model number etc? We moved into a 2 year old build,we can get hot water but no heating.Even after bleeding,no heating. Help please?

On my settings Burner status is off. Should I turn on? And how do I turn heating up or down via app? On my thermometer in house temperature is 20 on the app heating circuit 75° . If I want to turn heating to 25° how do I do on the app?

Hello mate I'm on top floor flat, the shower pump was already installed, I hate the noise of it and would rather get rid of it, is that something I can do, also sometimes it just randomly goes off without any water being turned on

You never mentioned you can pull the pin out from underneath and set your temperature you can set it from 10 to 29 choose your desired temp then put the pin back in so your kids or wife can turn the tvr up past the temperature you have set it at.

There is no hot water shutoff valve underneath the kitchen sink, and I don't know where it is.

What if you're turning the valve on (counter clockwise) and the water doesn't come on - the valve just keeps spinning?
