This is a very interesting video. Im an INFJ and I work as a IT helpdesk specialist. It is very monotonous, predictable and repetitive but I LOVE IT! Im left to do my job in peace as I work remotely and im isolated and you pretty much can't get anything wrong. The only thing I hate is being on the phone with rude customers as that heights my anxiety. I hate career path that challenge me to pay attention to too much detail, writing, strategize or market/sale myself. I enjoy troubleshooting and helping people in something im very knowledgeable on(training others). Every INFJ is different and doesnt mind repetitive jobs, just as long as we enjoy it. ISFJ Stuck in the past. Always rely on their past experiences (e.g., they will order the same food to avoid risk, travel to the same places, and choose the same shops or brands). They are spontaneous. They listen to others' problems and cry with them but often don’t talk about solutions. They tolerate bullying, let the bullies have their way, and cry in secret. INFJ Focus on the future. Always have new ideas. They are not spontaneous. They hate small talk. They teach others how to solve problems rather than just listening to them. They have a limit to their tolerance and will eventually ignore you as if you never existed.

As an infj, unfortunately this has a downside. 1) too empathetic leads to losing sight of YOUR needs and bound*ries. 2) adjusting to the environment costs a lot of energy and puts us in an emotional corset. Especially if you have to deal with ESTJ'S "there is a problem for every solution" kinda people. They are draining cause these people don't like feelings so we have to hide ours. 3) thought behind what you say cause you are afraid of hurting others feelings, cause others words tend to hurt us on a daily basis. Even non verbal communication hurts us. And we walk on egg shells trying not to do to others as others do to us. And we know the effect our words have so we don't wanna unintentionally have the wrong effect. So we walk on egg shells and measure our words. 4) people don't wanna see the truth. And unfortunately seeing all sides of a matter includes the 😈 advocate side I don't even wanna see myself either. But if that side is whats going on I am left advocating for that side making me look bad. Or when you can spot the narc when others are convinced the mask is real. Just don't say anything cause it will only make you look like the B for warning people. 5) yeah we SEEM peaceful. So some people assume we are l*zy or don't see the importance of the matter and purposefully try to stress us out. We aren't peaceful but self contr*lled there is a difference but looks the same. 6) Yes we are good writers, but we suck at talking (to people we aren't comfortable with). Writing lets us rethink our words and gets rid of the pesky non verbal input during the conversation distracting us. 7) personal growth is a good thing. But it also means you are never happy with yourself as is.

I am a combination. I like routine but I am really good at being spontaneous even tho I may not like it.

Refreshing video! I've noticed that when i'm solving a crossword, i try to see patterns in the given letters and just guess what the missing letters would be and try a bunch of things, really fast, in a trial-error manner. But after solving the puzzle for a certain time, or a certain number of pieces, my brain feels foggy and i cannot guess right answers at all. So i take a break and when i come back, suddenly i am solving those stuck pieces really fast, and the answers pop up in my mind really fast. It's so fascinating.

I definitely have attributes of both but from this I'd ascertain I have more ISFJ attributes.

As a person that has tested as an INFJ and INTJ, I see a bit of a common thread, the need for structure yet exerting a bit of creativity. I think i would consider an option in education, as i have been a tutor several years back.

please someone help me figure out which one i am 😭 i’m going crazy everytime i think i’ve made up my mind i end up overthinking it again and even if i’m tired i can’t stop searching for an answer i won’t stop until i know what i am. so as you can see im analytical i’m determined i think about the past but also imagine future scenarios in a catastrophic way mostly when im worried i’m a perfectionist but i procrastinate a lot i feel like im too grounded for an infj but also i have too much presence to be a common isfj like people think im mysterious and different and also they often take me as a role model idk why but i’ve noticed that when learning something i can’t wait to get to the result like i’m impatient and i want to already know how to do it also have a deep fear of rejection and im a control freak (i’m a capricorn) so what am i ???

Help! I've done the test multiple times in different mind sets and returned either INFJ or ISFJ. I’ve paid a small sum and done a more comprehensive one which returned INFJ. I'm Certainly an IJ and for the most part feeling but I'm in the 50s for N/S. This reflects in everything you are saying, i can relate to both. In fact some days I'm more INFJ than ISFJ from what you are saying and vice versa. I'm none the wiser! Your comments around routines are interesting. I’m very routine oriented but sometimes the thought of being stuck in a repetitive routine makes me very depressed. To say I was a complicated person would be an understatement. I never fit in anywhere.

INFJ CEO here and I…disagree. All of the stuff listed as “the job of a CEO” is actually not my job as CEO. I fill the role of visionary and coach and my COO, Head of Sales and Head of Client Services take care of all of this. I think this video is more of a “INFJ should not be an integrator or COO?” To which the answer is…heck no!

I love both of these types but it seems so many say how amazing and unique an INFJ is and then say how boring and I don't know if incapable of change is the right way to word it. Like ISFJs do not truly make an impact. Both are beautiful and kind personalities. I might be bring sensitive because I am an ISFJ myself. But i see comments like this quite often when watching comparisons. This is the best video I have seen on this. I really appreciate you talking more in depth about the cognitive functions. This was more helpful than you know. By far the clearest explanation of the differences between INFP/INFJ that I have seen to date; and I have seen many. I tend not to trust my intuition. Thank you so much, for your help... First time, i take the mbti test when i'm a high school student, and the result is, first attempt is isfj, and then second attempt infp, and last attempt is infj. So, i'm confused. But when i read the description, I think i described more in infj. So, i decided to convince myself that i'm infj. And then, time goes fast, and right now I'm a final year on chemical engineering student.. I started to try test again, but the test is infj and infp. My friend (his infp) always telled me that I'm infp. But, i don't know i just didn't suit with infp, because when i observed his behaviour (my friend), the behaviour is so different with me. I'm more like an expressive to communicate with others and when i give an advice for understanding himself, I tried "mainly" give an advice that focusing with looking his behaviour. But my friend is different, i think less expressive than I am and when he give me an advice, "mainly" something that works for him, because he know it works for him and he want to me to do that (like you know what I mean, something "recommend") So, I confused, and end up i'm being aware about cognitive function between infp and infj. and I got aha moment, because he has an infp personalities, he is introverted feeling. When i read about introverted feelings, it is him!. And absolutely I think i'm an extroverted feeling when i read the description. Soo, okay I'm an extroverted feelings. And I found that, infj and isfj has same extroverted feelings. And okay. I'M CONFUSE AGAIN, because I'm an expressive person, and isfj is expressive too... and I decided to find the differences about infj and isfj, read the article, watching this video, and another content. I decided, to take a deep down on me, contemplate myself "again". When i'm a high school student, in a 12 grade. I don't know why, i just imagine why wild grass like always being burned, why cannot be used, like turn to something valuable than being burned? And you know what, i just imagine, why that wild grass can be turning to bag?, but... with my little knowledge, I just can to think, okay we can just stick it together and make a shape of bag XD. But I don't know I think there's so many cons when i do that. And i just tell to my self, that "Someday I want to make something that people see "not valuable" (Something that being waste) to turn into valuable things, like making a product with that" So, i decided to continue studying chemical engineering to know about that, and yeah, it can be turn to something valuable, with using a chemical and physical process!. It can be turn to "biodegradable plastic". And right now, i make a step, focused on to be content creator in RUclips, to talk about environmental issues and also natural resources but i'm wrapping it with essence of life". I can give you an example: in my first content is "Menilai Sesuatu Secara Mendalam" or in English is (Looking Something in a Depth). In that video, we can learn together that, something that we commonly look is not valuable, (like a garbage, waste, rotten fruit, and that wild grass, etc), absolutely it can be valuable, but.. we have to look in a depth on that!. and yeah, okay I think I prefer to intuition when i contemplate about that :). I just want to say, thank you so much for help me to understand myself. Thank you once again, keep it up to make a content ^^ !

Still confused, but great video

This is something I consider for sure. I’m only at the beginning of my career as a communications specialist. The 37 hour work week (I live in Denmark where the weekly work hours are 37) and working this way until I turn 70 sounds crazy to me. I know with myself that that’s not how I’m going to spend the rest of my life, so I have this plan at the back of my mind of creating my own copywriting firm where I can be my own boss. I can take in as many or few customers as I like, sometimes my work week will be 25 hours, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less - that’s up to me. Some days I’ll work from home, some days I’ll work from the office which I’ll rent in an office hotel/community just to meet people and not be so isolated in my own home. But first, I’ll have to work in these 37-hours-per-week jobs a couple of years to grow capital.
