I know how overwhelmed your mother felt at 17 and she cared about your life and the life of your twin or she wouldn’t have placed you in the baskets and thought to give you life. Perhaps she knew God as well and even in her fear and the shame of being involved with an older married man, perhaps she thought ahead to the value your lives could have if they were preserved. Maybe she even thought to use baskets because of the Moses story. God is love and if she showed you both love by carrying the pregnancy and placing you in a location she believed would lead you to loving arms; then she might having been young and in a position of great pressure, still gave you the first lesson in love of your lives. God bless you! I’m so thankful that God can take any situation and use it for His glory. You are out there being a witness for Him, because although you were abandoned, you were rescued. I bet your mother said a prayer over the lives of her babies as she made the decisions she did. You could write this story and the meeting of your siblings and many would be touched by the many faces of love you encounter. God is love and He was with you from the beginning 💕🥰
