Just want to thank everyone for the support lately! I just reached 50 subscribers and I am internally grateful for yall ! I'm so excited for this upcoming new year and uploading more content. RUclips has been my dream since i was a kid but my dream faded away as I got older. @@nour2146 yes! Right?! I was using my headphones during the gameplay and the sound effects were crispy.
What difficulty are you playing on? Everything seems to die with only one or two shots, is that due to a mod or is it just on a low difficulty?
@@turtlemop8712 I switched it to easy mid way. I like the immersion of one shotting zombies with headshots 😂
@@Kazmickthis game is very easy anyway, the easiest of the HL games. I'd swap back to at least normal, maybe hard. Even though it might be more immersive otherwise^^. Also make sure to play without mods the first time around. You can mod the stundtick in whenever you like after that, but please don't tarnish the first time
@@kakophonien6514It's easy when you know what you're doing but never the first time, i haven't actually played HL:A more than once so i can still understand why they made things easier to let the player adjust to the VR controls

maybe start with the other games. they're masterpieces.

@Kazmick nice! How'd you enjoy HL1, since it is an older game? Can highly recommend playing it's expansions too, Opposing Force and Blue Shift. When did you play HL1, HL2 and the Episodes?
@@kakophonien6514 I enjoyed it a lot and definitely was impressed with its features for the year that Half life released. I have watched every expansion pack gameplay and explanation videos. I studied this series before I started Half Life Alyx, I wanted to be fully ready for when I started playing it 😭
@@Kazmick great! Still, I recommend actually playing the expansions, and replaying HL2, bc it got the big 20th anniversary update last weekend

@ I don’t know much about specs but I’m sure yours is better than mine😂 without recording or streaming you can play this game at high quality with minor frame skips ! I think the sale ends soon so if you’re thinking of buying it get it now before it’s back to 60$!

I would love to get these jump scares in real life 😅 (I don't have a VR headset....... Yet)
I would recommend getting the game while it’s 20$ bc I don’t know when the next sale will be. Atleast you’ll have it purchased by the time you get a headset! If you don’t want to spent so much money I definitely would get the Quest 2. That’s my first and current headset and I love it! I’ll probably upgrade to a Quest 3 next year 😊
@@Kazmick Yeah, Quest 2 is awesome, because of it's price and functionality. It is the best choice if you don't want to spent so much money and play many VR games including HL Alyx as well. I still use it myself and it's great!
@ I just saw an add for the Quest 3s and it’s 300$. Finally cheaper from when I bought my quest. I might upgrade to the standard Quest 3 next month and just sell my Quest 2

@@dangel77 for which? My pc or oculus? My oculus settings are default and game settings is default as well.. I know that isn’t any help 😒😒
@@dangel77 if it’s for oculus their is a program which helps in boosting connection and help maintain solid fps if you’d like that. It’s called ovr server.
