Elden Ring DLC, but I Only Use Pot Items - Lord of Pots Build.... AGAIN
For this video I want to beat the game using only pot/jar themed items. This means armor, weapons, charms, summons, and items should be related to pots somehow. I'll be going through the DLC this time. Shadow of the Erdtree has added a lot of new pot items to make this video seem a bit different compared to my first video with the base game.

How Elden Ring Plays Different Without Enemies
Просмотров 6042 месяца назад
Was curious about what would happen to Elden Ring if the game was just bosses and friendly NPCs. So I went through and removed every enemy in the game. Beyond The Game: There is a Third Godskin in the "Duo"

I was going around deleting some enemies in the area and stumbled on an extra Godskin apostle in the area. I did some parameter test to how the health bar of the boss is effected. Beyond The Game: Most Helpful "Enemy" in Elden Ring

While playing around in behind the scenes in Elden Ring I noticed that all the sites of grace are listed as an enemy object. If anyone knows why these and bonfires are listed as such let me know. Looking to understand as much as I can about the game. Elden Ring, but I play with random effects every 1-2 minutes

I programmed a script in Python to make random effects happen every 1-2 minutes. There are a lot of effects that can play ranging from turning my screen upside down to outright closing my game. TikTok: www.tiktok.com/@macejackm Twitch: www.twitch.tv/macejackm Twitter: MaceJackM

Why are there blood flies at 9:16 ?
Kudos for going back to take on the NPC fight. Awesome video!
Thank you!
I knew this video was coming when I saw the new pots in the DLC 🍯 Hopefully we'll see a bride of thorns run too 🌹
Does anyone else get excited when ya see mace streaming 🙌
Edit; Of course I post this and sure enough, I FINALLY kill Maliketh! While remaining 'faithful' to pre-DLC. Story time; 2 years ago, after my first character beat the game a couple of times I was having ideas for a 'pot run', I'd learnt resource areas, drew up rough ideas of what I wanted and needed especially my fellow pot boy (Jarwright), but I didn't have any clear picture in mind, so I keep thinking and planning start doing research, then I come across it purely by chance, your first Lord of Pots video, I remember exclaiming out loud "FUCK YES!!" watched it, and you gave me everything I needed and you helped me finalise what I needed for my run, your smooth commentary, fantastic editing, music choices the way you segmented your video was an utter joy to watch, and have always referred back to it when needed. And so "Bomber Man" was born, after getting set up, I practically stormed through all early and mid game with hilarious ease and quickly became my favourite run, I did take LONG several month breaks here and there when fatigue set in from farming or being "boss walled". After maybe a 4-6 month haitus on the run, over the past couple of weeks, I got the urge to come back to it, sure enough today I decide to do just that (29th August 2024), as my current 'wall' unfortunately, is Maliketh, and I have died an absolute crap ton of times to him, but more or less get him down to about a quarter of his health consistently- just infront of the 'e' at the end of Blade on his name, that close. And as luck would have it while playing today, and as I write this, I wondered if you had uploaded and to my absolute Joy, another pot video for the DLC, and eating it up now. So thankyou for all the time and effort you put into these they are amazing to watch. On a personal note with my run, I'm having conflicting feelings, since I started this run nearly 2 years ago, part of me feels I should stay 'faithful' to the pre-dlc start and not venture of to it before beating the rest of the game, without DLC upgrades, but Maliketh is driving me mad once again and the temptation to casually wander in and get the upgrades is building, and I won't lie Maliketh has been that much of a pain I have *almost* caved a few times and gone and upgraded mimic tear to +10 saying to hell with it and using it. But still want to remain faithful. If you, or anyone else has read all of this, thankyou and also your thoughts? Should I give myself soemthing to do and go to the DLC leave Maliketh for another time? Or stay faithful to how I started the run? I know, I COULD go to the DLC get said things, and NOT use them in the base game, buuuut I know I'll cave and use them. So thoughts anyone? And thankyou again for reading😂
That's awesome! Glad that after writing it all you actually got past Maliketh lol. You're at the home stretch for staying faithful to pre-DLC but I think it would be cool to know how some of the DLC pots stack up again the end game bosses since I never tested that out. Might find some cool interactions. Off the top of my head madness pots for Gideon (tho farming those are a pain). Definitely hard getting back into any build after taking so long off. It took a bit for me when I started the dlc. If you're this far into the run I'm positive you'll be able to finish the challenge run! Super appreciative that you enjoyed my pot build videos!
@macejack Thankyou! And honestly I was SORELY tempted to do DLC after Maliketh but I felt that 'hype' and momentum to keep going and finish the run, and you know what? I did! Died - to my surprise- to Gideon about 5 or 6 times, I forgot he does actually hit hard and if I miss timed my attacks I was going to get slapped, and it was my first day back on the run after around 7 months too. Godfrey wasn't hard per-se I died more if I got caught by some weird hit boxes, or caught of guard by combos I long since forgot about, the panic set in when I got him to second phase, incidentally killed him the first time I got him to phase 2 so that was nice. The final bosses were the easiest and most fun for me got them down on my 6th attempt? Or 7th? Either way pretty quick, I remembered that they added torrent to the elden beast so I decided that halfway through, I would use him, - ONLY at halfway when he stars using Elden stars, and that I would only use him to get out and away from that attack or other combos starting if I was in 'in a pinch' and it helped, a lot, Elden stars seriously do keep up to you though on torrent still the odd one hitting me time to time. But now onto the DLC should be fun, and interesting point you made about Gideon with the madness pots, I WISH I had have thought of that, but oh well😂 I do feel like they would be risky to use - hefty pots in general given how long they take throw and how easily punishable you'll be, I may - just may, do an ng+ run on it to find out, and I'm a glutton for punishment 😂
love to see the original build continued for the dlc. nice video!
Thank you!
bro the comeback is crazy, i thought your videos were so fire when the game came out and I'm happy your back with a classic
I appreciate it!
Amazing video mate, keep up the good work
The King has returned
Pot man is back!
I just completed my own wandering noble build starting fully naked. It is a fun challenge
run was so good i had to like, sub and comment down below🏺
Amazing build using it now with a dew tweaks for the new dlc
You could do the same with randomizer and replace all normal enemies and hostile NPCs with passive wildlife, takes about 3 minutes and doesnt break boss ads or quest lines lol
This is mindblowimg
Lol crystal boss fight with the noble was like that meme fight back.
Except for the fire weakness, that’s Laurence in spades
I really wanted to love these sorceries, on paper they looked really cool, but their speed really handicaps them.
Thats really interesting, I was wondering how it actually worked. Its a neat idea. Thank you for this deep dive.
how did you get the raya lucaria cracked pot before red wolf, i am so confused
Run it back.
huh, so this is where i got the inspiration for my dragon incantation mohgs fork dragoon build from
Elden without the ring Btw cool vid 👍🍍
Now you have to do the dlc
Boost :)
Are you gonna do this challenge again? The DLC has more DROGONS stuff.
You are not going to like trying to do this in the DLC lol
After beating the final boss of the dlc, yeah I'm not sure lord of pots can handle all that lol
New pot build items!
This part 2 is gonna be rough
@@macejack I can't wait!
I'll have you know that my encounter with Clayman #23 was a legendary fight. Anyways, this is an interesting look at Elden Ring. Removing all the enemies would make for an intriguing challenge run. Hope to see some SotE content from you in the future.
Your content is always enjoyable and so underrated very well put together and the only Elden Ring videos I watch, I’d love to see some more consistently from you 👍
Elden ring just......turns eerie
The Effigies and Imp Statues are interactable, but there is essentially only one thing to interact with them for each. Perhaps all the varied utilities a Site of Grace offers the player on use is somehow managed better by the "Basekit" for Enemies, which would have to handle a lot more complexity by nature?
wow that was very interesting idea for a video
Now for the Godskin Quartet
worst boss in the game
They use what is basically the same or similar mechanic for certain bosses in the souls series. For example, slave knight Gael phase 2 and 1 one share the same health bar.
actually much more interesting than I expected. deep dives on random and useless information like this is kinda missing for Elden Ring
I wish they could damage each other. Their fireballs phasing through each other to hit you will never not annoy me.
Hope this video randomly blows up one day, this is so cool
somehow this makes me hate the boss fight less
That's how it was with ds1 four kings and ds3 deacons of the deep
i dont really know what im watching but it seems like alot of work went into this. like and sub.
*we found him, the Godskin Trio*
I cant believe how special an idea and unique this is. PLEASE do more area safety ratings & more like the previous 2 videos showing godskin hidden apostle
Underrated channel
if i remember correctly, fromsoft used this same idea for the 4 kings boss fight in the first dark souls game
Oh yeah you're right! I had forgotten about that fight
Sites of Grace being NPCs goes all the way back to Dark Souls, and likely to Demon's Souls as well. Zullie covered killing bonfires in this video ruclips.net/video/9b7fyYNHUuI/видео.html Objects just being NPCs or having NPCs hidden out of bounds or inside objects is super common in game development. You can see it from games like Spongebob BFBB to Bethesda's RPGs. It's always very cool to peek back behind the curtain so to speak and get a glimpse of how things are made.
Coolest Elden Ring vid I've seen in a while
Thank you!
Nice vid 🤘
