Brands should learn from Toyota making cars 2 times as much that mess up 2 years down the line. Or even look at jeep or chevys don’t last anything

Incredible reliability from Toyota, I doubt any other manufacturer could achieve this, their cars are so well engineered I have had two Toyota Corolla touring sports great cars never dropped a beat, I can guarantee no fully electric car will achieve this along with the fact that a corolla is around half the price of a EV

I heard your electronic brake engage when you parked. Did you know if you hold the switch up for a few seconds you can deactivate it from being automatic?

You should send the car to a channel like CCN, im sure they'll all love to review a car with so much mileage in a short amount of time! Almost nobody believes that these things can go that much without problems

This seems potentially like what I'm dealing with after a little stop sign incident in a 2020 rav4 hybrid xle. Going to take bumper off again and check the switch you've pointed out as being the culprit. The faults which have been showing on the cheap ODBII device are telling the P05A0, it had also given me p05qf. After clearing those, after having adjusted the grille shutter which was a little bent up and busted, it's only given me the p05A0. Likely going to replace the front bumper bar which is dented, just cause, as it possibly is putting pressure on the switch/sensor, May also replace the grille shutter since the front of it is somewhat busted and it seems not symmetrical perhaps, anymore. I can't seem to find the actuator motor for the grille shutter anywhere, to price. I do think it's still working as I saw the shutter fully closed, twice, and fully open once, yesterday after the initial reset of the fault code; though the check engine light came back on. Maybe all I'll really need to do is, re-align the switch onto the nipple. Either way, thanks!

We've had a couple of Toyotas. Really liked our Hybrid Auris estate. But Toyota need to up their game on full electric as hybrids are only a transitionary technology.

I have 47k on a 2021,get 40-45mpg driving 75. The wind and cold up here take 3-5 mpg away.

How much oil has it used when you do an oil change at 10k miles or so? Is it still at full level or did it burned oil and how much?

I'll take BG full synthetic transmission fluid over Toyota WS. WS isn't a true full synthetic. Also plan on using BG transmission treatment.

I use purolator one pl1477 in my hybrids,Amsoil 0w-16 only.

as you have two toyotas and im saving up for one, is that a 1.8 corolla or 2.0? which one would you recommend? and would you recommend going for prefacelift or post? Also, if you had to choose between fwd and awd on rav4, which one would you get?

What you mistakenly call a bumper is only a piece of decorative plastic trim. Most cars have them these days. But underneath is a real bumper, usually just a steel bar or girder. The plastic trim piece is flimsy and easily damaged or destroyed. Usually at least a thousand-dollar job to replace, maybe lots more. That and a new LED headlight assembly may cost more than the value of the car if it's as old and high-mileage as this one.

Any transmission fluid replacements? Any breake job? And coolant issues? Im asking because my ford fusion phev is at 202k miles with only oil and tire changes. I’ve never touched anything else in terms of maintenance. So far zero issues.

Wow, 481k miles!? I’ve planned to get the 2025 Toyota Camry hybrid i’ve planning on getting soon. What does anyone think about it? Also, any advice to keep the hybrid system cool during the summer heat?
