I'm going to recommend you get a wire pet brush because plastic catches on the plastic fibers and causes them to snag and frizz.

I have a Play Sports Bratz doll. It's Fianna as a tennis player but, she's in her box and I don't want to lose her or her accessories and mess her beautiful hair and outfit up. I love her earrings too.

Where do you store them and in what type of containers?

I never used goo gone. It is not available in Europe. I used talcum powder and it worked very well on some dolls (they are still ok without new seepage after several years) but did not work at all on some. As you said, some dolls are so damaged by the evil glue that we might as well try everything. I had a glue rebellion phase. I would only buy glue free dolls in shops (yes, I was sqeezing their heads... in shops!! lol). I ended up buying most of these dolls I refused to buy in shops very cheaply in boot sales. It is a good thing because why should I contribute to giving my money to a coorporation who does not even respect their own products. I will wait for G3 to turn up in charity shops. I am not so keen on contributing to Mattel's greediness. It breaks my heart to see some of my gorgeous Monster High dolls being destroyed by this crap glue. It is bad enough that I bought some mini Barbie extra dolls... in shops (reduced, ok... lol)! They can keep their crappy Barbie the movie dolls. I know my comments are too long but the glue, the GLUE. At least original Spectra is glue free and so is Haunted Spectra. It breaks my heart to see my gorgeous ghost being discoloured because of that bloody glue. Mattel should be damned! 😬🤭🤣🤣 Courage for your glue fight. It requires strength and dedication!
