I was at this show and it was one of my top shows in my life time as well seeing Daft Punk in the same building back in 2009

I was on a pscilocybin experience & there is a cross with a rosebush growing around it ..i was weeding it & pricked my fingers & i swear i was pulled in when my blood mixed with jesus,s blood at the cellular level flowing together!! I could see the blood flowing inside the veins !! .i was in the blood!😂

This was off the chain/hook/leash whatever. All of it. And I was talking about the main stage show. THIS set was a whole 'nother level. Library of Congress stuff. Further is a very underated album. It has a lot of beautiful tracks. Anyways, this is one of most beautiful mixes of their tracks. Miss some tracks form "Exit Planet Dust", I know first album has a lot of resampling and after they have made more sounds of your own. "Private Psychedelic Reel" is a master piece, really ecstatic.

Sorry to disappoint … but like Leftfield post-Leftism ….The Chemical Brother’s new stuff mostly doesn’t hit the spot for me anymore … and their live shows leave me mostly cold, bored and unmoved. What’s gone wrong?? … it’s hard to put a finger on it …. 🤔 If you caught them in the Hey Boy, Hey Girl era … and was at that Aston (Birmingham, UK) Sports Hall gig years back where the bass was so thunderous pint pots of beer on the table had to be held down, and a security man(used to heavy metal gigs) was hiding behind the sound desk cupping his ears in disbelief as the huge 8mm projectors churned out rough cut and paste projections whipping the crowd into a euphoric dance frenzy that left sweat dripped off the walls… THAT was a REAL Chemical Brother’s gig!! … people staggering out stunned, strangers whispered “f*cking hell … that was incredible” ….Hoped for that at Bluedot Festival by the Jodrell Bank telescope a few years later … but there they just BORED me and were piercing, tedious and irritating to the point I walked away to another sound stage…hard to say if everything was too polished and the basics of grit mismanaged? … clearly they lost their dance mojo somewhere … as all artists do - eventually - like Leftfield … the new stuff doesn’t cut it…. now the Masses gather to worship … too late … the magic has gone.

Saw the boys on Arcadia at Glastonbury this year, absolutely blew my mind, amazing set amazing energy in the crowd i havnt danced like that and for that long for 20yrs im 46 now, one of my highlights of a wonderful festival.
